360 vs. PS3 vs. Wii

Yeah, the Sixaxis works with all games. Old or new. Now is a good time to get one, since the great games are finally being released. It starts this week with Virtua Fighter 5 and Flow(PS store downloadable game). Then in March we'll be bombarded with games. Europe may have had to wait, but at least they'll have no shortage of games.

I'm starting to collect some old PSone/PS2 games that's on the greatest hits (Castlevania SOTN, Lara Croft:legend, DMC, Toca 3, etc)

Yet, I have to wait to return to the US next year to purchase a PS3 (will sell my PS2 machine though) along with great games from PS3 a-must-have titles. I can only drool for now from the screenshots in a game magazine local here such as MGS4, F1, Dirt:McRae-Off-Road, Sega Rally Rev, Tekken, Fight Night Round.

I'm actually planning on upgrading/re-doing my whole home theater set-up over the next few months, that looks like a good forum for info. The PS3's blu-ray capability is kinda sparking my interest, just seems like a much better buy then getting a stand alone player. The AVS forums are very well respected. It will answer all your home theatre questions. It helped me decide what LCD TV to buy and how to calibrate it for the best possible image quality.

I've also noticed that alot of non-gamer Blu-ray supporters on there were opting for a PS3. Not only for it's price, but because it is of equal quality to the best Blu-ray players and offers more features. Plus with HDMI 3.1, it's ready for the future. That's something no other Blu-ray player currently supports. The PS3 is a far better deal than many would lead you to believe.

So I played on a Wii for the first time yesterday. Can't say I was thrilled with it. I'm too old for that sort of crap, just too kiddish for me to get excited at all about it (even if it is a shooting game, the way the controllers are just turn me off and to think they are supposed to be the main attraction). I can't believe I wanted to buy one of these things at one point

I agree with you man. I'm way too tired when I get home from work to be waving my arms around. I need all my arm strength for playing with my son.

I never played a Halo game before, so it doesn't influence me at all. The 360is cool, but I can't I can't afford two systems right now.

Tried the Wii at a friend's place earlier tonight and I found it entertaining as fu*k. He had Wii Sports, and we only played a little tennis, but it was the best fun I've had with video-games since........ever, I think.

although i went to Fnac today and saw the PS3 and that just made me wonder that i'll probably get one a year from now, in my birthday (because this sunday it's just to soon, €600 is unafordable for me atm)

Well I thing Wii should be compared with PS2 and Xbox more then with PS3 and 360. I mean those are much more powerful platforms and Wii is a lot weaker don't you think?

Is the Wii really worth buying? I own a 360, PS3 and frankly never play games. But I miss those days so I decided what the hell lets go back to gaming for when i come home from work on the weekdays .
