For me SG is more like that abrasive friend from school that moved to college with me. It's always there, it' a constant reminder of the dumb **** you've done, and it won't quite adapt to its new surroundings.

EDIT: what I actually think is funny is that this is supposed to be a soccer GAMING forum. It's like there's the FIFA/PES crowd here that comes and goes, and then there's this seedy SG subculture that hangs out in here.

Dude, thats a hilarious analogy. The PES section is dead, and I have no idea what the hell goes on in the FIFA section, it IS like a different world.

I recently had a look at who has the most posts and there are people I've never seen before, who have been here for only a couple of years, with a badonkadonk of posts. That guy is definitely breaking the 20K mark first, sadly.

Maybe we should encourage those FIFA guys to post more in the Soccer/Non Fifa forums... although it could lead to many, many newbs as we have noticed with FIFA posters in the past converting over.

Haha. I got here because I needed a new roster patch for FIFA, but I don't think I've posted over 100 posts in the gaming forums, or even read them. Just the Soccer forum and the Lounge. If you don't post at the Lounge, you don't exist in SG.

This guy genuinely pisses me off. As ashamed of my post count as I am, I still don't want randoms and FIFAs to have the most posts in the forum. Maybe we could make every post in the FIFA forums worth .5?

And the worst part is that he has "The Legend" under his name. The Legend? **** that, only to annoying 14 year olds constantly bitching for slightly more correct faces and stadiums.

A few months ago I was reading this mountain biking forum I visit and I looked down where it says "users currently browsing this forum" and holy sh!t, there was a guy called Yossarian! So I PM'ed him and asked if he was the Yoss from SG, but he's like "wtf are you talking about!??" haha so yeah, wrong guy..

It only counts because no one posts here anymore, so the Soccer Forum is really all that exists. A few years ago that place was almost as bad as FIFA. I only checked the Bayern thread, and nothing else.
