Hi there.
My name is Daniel, and a have a question:
I am 19 years old, and I play football since i was 13, in a small team from a small town.
It never ment to be some kind of a professional career, but it had allways been my hobby, and I would be glad to keep playing in an amateur league all my life (as much as my body lets me :).
But there is one problem: For some resaon, I have to quit the team for two years. Actually, my team trains three times a week, and has a match at the weekend, and i manage to practise only once in a week, and ofcourse it has a negative influence on my skills and fittness.
Now, my question is:
In your opinion, is it possible to quit from football for two/two and a half years from football, and then make a come back to an amature team, or those two years are too important to miss..?
Thanks!

These years (19-21) makes a player grow as my father told who was the assistant coach of Indian National Football Team. So, in my father's opinion you can't return as agood player after these two years.

No, as Dipanjan said from 19-21 are important 2 years off football would be bad. I would just stick with it, or play in your time then return but make sure u play when u can.
