A radical idea for fifa that i'm sure would be welcomed by fans

baseball, hockey, football and i also believe basketball games releaded by EA have a multiple season mode or "Franchise" as it is known in Madden (football) and maybe others. I know Fifa has multiple seasons also (i believe only 3) but what bugs me is that after one year is done you just proceed to the next. In other games you are expected to be a General manager also. I believe Madden may be the best one becasue after a season is done you have to: View retired players.
Re-sign Players.
Scout Players for upcoming draft.
Sign Free Agents
And then a Draft.

Ofcourse you wont have a draft in Fifa since there are no drafts in football (soccer) but what about the others.

Imagine a franchise mode in Fifa with multiple seasons (more then 3) where you have a REALISTIC bank roll. And each of your players are under the present real life contract. That way you have to re-sign them when the contracts expire. You can go out and purchase players from other clubs (like u can now) but perhaps have to negotiate a transfer with another club and maybe even have another club flat out deny any transfer request at all.
I think it would be intresting to have offers from other clubs to buy one of their players or perhaps purchase one of yours. Have a transfer list with a list of players who obviously have been transfer listed by their club. Maybe even have a player request a transfer or demand one.
And in other games players ratings change from year to year so as veterans get a little older there skills begin to fade and young players begin to develope into superstars. So Fifa should do the same.

Thats what i'd like to see for the future of the fifa series. it would make things more intresting espically since most fifa gamers have to admit things get boring on the pitch after a month or two.

Or you can always make my life much better by making 2003 Total Club Manager for the PS2 console and also available in Canada to.
Were a multiculturel country and there is an increidable number of soccer fans here not just hockey lol.

what would u do? add? or delete?

they don't do it because there are sooooo many teams in the fifa series, with madden only 31 teams, same with nba and mlb and such that's ur reason.

then lets use this other game from EA as an example,
NCAA Football 2003, it has a dinasty mode, in which you control a team, then players leave, you get to recruit players for your program, and the same stuff in madden.
With 144 teams, each one with their real life stadium in the game. And their real life kits, with great textures, injuries on both teams and all that stuff..

Yep. This is a great idea.

However, I think EA should first get it right with the gameplay before putting all their effort into the managerial side of the game.

There are 2 main reason as to why EA won't release a game like that:

1. It would need to be focused on one league and people complain about the lack of leagues as it is.

2. EA know they can release seperate managerial games and rake in the cash, so why stop.

how about making Total Club Manager 2004 instead of FIFA 2004 and combine those two games...... you can play instead of watching.

Damn, that would kick ar.se

Even if they charged like 60 bucks or more.

i'm sure there's a bunch of reasons why EA don't do it but to many leagues? to many players? come on. that's BS. It's not like we need an in depth review of what is going on in other leagues like the standings, goal scorers, or card status. All we need is perhaps a rising star perhaps in a league like the swedish league being offered for a transfer to your team which may be in for example the Spanish League. We don't need to check what clubs in other leagues signed what players because no one cares.

You got a great point up there in your reply who ever it was that wrote that about the NCAA game. 144 teams in the game and it has great in depth managment options.

I know fifa has more then 144 club teams in the game but it just goes to show you that they can do it if there are more then 31 teams like Madden and the rest and they can do it for NCAA, so i'm sure if they wanted to (even though they wont) they could.

Or like i said earlier sell 2003 Total Club Manager in Canada for PS2 dammit

yea

I agree 100%, and during the offseason have it where you can train your players in different aspects of the game to make their skill levels go up....just an idea

hey guys i think that gameplay will suck anyways so why not put some things that we think are cool so we can at least be entertained by those. i mean if they cant make the gameplay any better why dont they make the enviorment and options better at least well have fun with that.

Good ideas, here. :)
If not a franchise mode, EA should make, at least, a career mode. Wasn't there a game with something of this sort, where you could follow the player's career, from the bottom the the National team? I wish FIFA had that.

I play NBA Live on franchise mode all the time. That was the best improvement that game had.

Sounds an awful lot like PES2/WE6

Simple solution ---> Just play PES2/WE6.

It has most of what you've just said in the, so called, 'Master League'.

^^^not all of us have access to those games Carlos*ass.

Anywho...the guy who mentioned ncaa football 2003 is a genius, because it has like over 120 teams, and all have the exact rosters (it'll be like "hb # 20" for the running back who is #20, but you can edit the names and put the real ones in)...

That's what they should do...but here's why they won't

Football manager series...that's the one with all the $$$ issues...if they put that in this game, then they will have no need for the football manager series...IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BENJA**** BABY...UH'HUH YAH!-P Diddy

(hahahahahahaha, can't believe i quoted p-diddy...oh well...i'm not cool enywayz). :jambo:

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn...

Good ish!!! A great idea

But it'll have to be an animated automatic thing...when u push the tackle button...cuz the jersey on the player is not too motion-capable, in terms of graphics...but once again...

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn...that's something they should put in it
