baseball, hockey, football and i also believe basketball games releaded by EA have a multiple season mode or "Franchise" as it is known in Madden (football) and maybe others. I know Fifa has multiple seasons also (i believe only 3) but what bugs me is that after one year is done you just proceed to the next. In other games you are expected to be a General manager also. I believe Madden may be the best one becasue after a season is done you have to: View retired players.
Re-sign Players.
Scout Players for upcoming draft.
Sign Free Agents
And then a Draft.
Ofcourse you wont have a draft in Fifa since there are no drafts in football (soccer) but what about the others.
Imagine a franchise mode in Fifa with multiple seasons (more then 3) where you have a REALISTIC bank roll. And each of your players are under the present real life contract. That way you have to re-sign them when the contracts expire. You can go out and purchase players from other clubs (like u can now) but perhaps have to negotiate a transfer with another club and maybe even have another club flat out deny any transfer request at all.
I think it would be intresting to have offers from other clubs to buy one of their players or perhaps purchase one of yours. Have a transfer list with a list of players who obviously have been transfer listed by their club. Maybe even have a player request a transfer or demand one.
And in other games players ratings change from year to year so as veterans get a little older there skills begin to fade and young players begin to develope into superstars. So Fifa should do the same.
Thats what i'd like to see for the future of the fifa series. it would make things more intresting espically since most fifa gamers have to admit things get boring on the pitch after a month or two.
Or you can always make my life much better by making 2003 Total Club Manager for the PS2 console and also available in Canada to.
Were a multiculturel country and there is an increidable number of soccer fans here not just hockey lol.
what would u do? add? or delete?
