A Strange Problem With Youth Academy

Well in my games some of the youth squad players I have signed are behaving absolutely ridiculously. I cannot offer contracts to them, nor can I release them from my youth squad, whenever I click on them the message 'player is currently negotiating the contract offer you previous sent him'. The truth is, I have never offered them contracts, and this has lasted for like 4 months into the new season. Now there are some players whose potentials are proven to be low, and I cant even get rid of them. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there a way to fix that? Does FIFA14 have debug code like dragon age, in a way you can execute command line scripts to get rid of some players?

Are you the same person as 'TheHallofFamer' on the official EA forums, 'cos if not then you folks have the exact same issue. Either way, I'll repeat my offer to take a look at the saved game file, assuming you are playing on PC. I cannot guarantee to fix anything, but I might be able to figure out what's going on.

If you fill your youth academy and then try to add another scouted player the game will take you to the youth academy to release one or more players. Will it let you release them from that screen?? (I'm guessing that you've tried that, but it seems worth a mention)

Does FIFA14 have debug code like dragon age, in a way you can execute command line scripts to get rid of some players?

Nice thought, but EA make it as difficult as possible to edit the saved game files, and to the best of my knowledge no one has cracked the scheme for 14 (or 13)
