Me and my mate recorded this a few days back, a bit of a latin bossanova track, see what you think!

Note, this is all original work.. I even wrote the lyrics.. (so if they are lame...)

There is definately a touch of John Frusciante in the solos. Not bad, not exactly my cup of tea, but a decent effort. Rythm guitar sounded a bit like Maroon 5 aswell haha.

Cheers for listening, meh it was only meant as a bit o fun. I tried to get a similar style to fun lovin criminals with it. Maroon 5? haha, what a compliment...

Great track mate. Good mastering too, love the bassline and solo but not sure about the high pitched voice, that kind of ruined it a little for me (if you're gonna keep it in there I would add a bunch of echo to that). I'd replace the keyboard solo with guitar too.

How did you record it?

I like the Bossa Nova parts and the guitar solo. I didn't like the vocals (slightly out of tune at times) and the fact I've heard this sound before.

You guys sound good and have potential! Keep it up, and try going to uncharted territory if you can.
