That's just media talking but i would prefer if we don't even mention that **** here it stains to even think that Kaka' would leave! I'd give up on football altogether! I don't give a **** about 70 Ronaldinhos coming to Milan if Kaka' leaves! I even don't want Ronaldinho to come even if Kaka' stays cause he'd get in his way ! Ronaldinho is IMO one of the greatest ever but Kaka' is a Milan kid just as Pato will be if he's still with us when he's 25. lol, i would only choose one if i had to choose between Maradona and Pele, great players but the possibility of them playing together cooperatively is slim to none......also try to imagine Maradona as Milan GK, he would probably try to dribble past everyone and leave the goal open!!

seriously guys, go for younger players, Gourcoff has massive potential and get players like Bianchi to replace Inzaghi.....as for defenders, there r players like Barzagli.......

The FIFA Order of Merit is usually awarded to those who are considered to have made a significant contribution to football.

The prize is not necessarily just for footballers, as apart from the likes of Pele, Franz Beckenbauer and the only other Italian to have won the award so far, Dino Zoff, political figures such as Nelson Mandela and Henry Kissinger have also been recipients.

Maldini will become only the second Italian to win the award, following in the footsteps of 1982 World Cup-winning captain Dino Zoff.

The 39-year-old Maldini will receive the honour at the annual FIFA Congress in Sydney next month. The Milan captain is set to retire from football at the end of the season after a glorious career lasting almost a quarter-of-a-century.

He has won seven Scudetti, one Coppa Italia, five Italian Super Cups, five Champions League titles, five European Super Cups and three World Club Cups.

He is both Milan and Italy’s all-time appearance maker, and is regarded by some as the best defender in the history of the game.

I completely agree! Only one player is missing imo and that is Torres.

funnily all the players are strikers or attacking players, if it was me, i'd list a few defenders and midfielders like Makelele and Ferdinand or Carvalho in there as well, not to mention a GK.........

Well if you look a bit better all the players Capello listed are second strikers or attacking midfielders (AM (Kaka',Fabregas - slightly more defensive, but still), RW (Messi, C.Ronaldo)or CF (Rooney, Pato) ) and that are the most appreciated players, imo he's right, defenders are football intelligence and technique-wise always worse than these players, i think that the best players (all-round) are always tried to position in the trequartista/second attacker position as they have the intelligence to dictate play and the skill to take on defenders, rarely even a pure striker is regarded as best but they're next in line. But the 10's are the ones that can change the game not goalkeepers and defenders, nor def mids, of course there are always exceptions.

yeah, pirlo is imo better than cesc but cesc is younger and can go a longer way, and i think that he can be better than both iniesta and pirlo and that's what Capello thought when he said it i think.
