AC Milan Thread [2008/09]

It's not solely about Kaka' but as you say they can buy 2-3 fantastic players, i don't want other fantastic players i want Kaka in Milan, other than that Berlusconi has 10.5 billion € and he can invest that in those 2-3 fantastic players we need.

This is my reason: They've already lost Sheva, and if they sell Kaka' even if he want's to stay, they can sell Pato right now and loose Gourcuff too cause it makes no sense to call someone a club symbol one day and sell him the next, why should then people get attached to Pato or any future Milan star, if they all have a price. **** you Berlusconi you dead fascist ****!
It would be easier if Kaka' talked **** about Milan, then the tifosi could get angry at him, but he wants to stay, and he's the only player that i managed to grow to like more than Sheva. I COULD NEVER ROOT FOR ANY CLUB OTHER THAN MILAN CAUSE I AM NOT A HYPOCRITE, BUT WHAT'S THE POINT ALTOGETHER IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE GONNA GET DISAPPOINTED AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Milan has already broken my heart (football-wise) once when they sold Sheva
and seeing Kaka' play has healed that wound, now if they sell the best player i have ever seen (Yep, to me at least) i will have no reason to follow football anymore.

And just so you know Buti even though i really admire Dinho and he came to a club i support, i would much rather see him in Barca (on Henry's place, and Henry in Arsenal!). Money has ruined football.

It makes me sick how fans only start to complain that money has "ruined football" when it finally affects their team. Well guess what? YOUR money has been "ruining football" for decades. You just didn't give a sh*t because it was smaller clubs being affected. And you expect sympathy now?

First of all i agree with you,
But I wasn't talking about City's money,i was talking about the fact Milan would accept money for Kaka', that's why I said money is ruining football, actually greed. It's not the same, i don't blame City, i blame Milan for even considering it, and i have every right to.

Milan is a big enough club and has a rich enough owner to not have to even consider selling players that are brilliant for the club, in fact Berlusconi should have invested a couple of hundreds of millions in these last few years in Milan, and if a **** like that chooses to cash in on a player that's one of the best in football's history, and a player that wishes to stay and end his career at Milan than money and greed has won, and when greed wins over principals and loyalty (especially for a noble man like Kaka') than money has ruined football.

I just simply won't follow football anymore, but yeah, that's the same thing.

I can't follow football anymore, Kaka' is football to me, better than Pele and Maradona combined (again to me), i ******* don't care a bit for any City, Real M., Chelsea etc, or any other club where he could go as I was a Milanista my whole life (And the reason i became a fan of Milan wasn't just whose colors i like best or whose players i like best as it is with most kids), i simply cannot watch Kaka' in another jersey, and also it doesn't make sense to grow to like any of future Milan's stars if they sell Kaka' cause as long as that fascist **** Berlusconi is in charge they will all have a price. I just simply won't have anything to do with football rather than be frustrated cause my only toy got broken.
Ok, it's not like it's such a big deal, football-wise it's the worst thing in the world for me, but i can live without football. **** I quit smoking, and i'm still alive :)

I don't blame you for feeling this way.. I mean first you lost Sheva, and now you may possibly loose Kaka.

Hey arnau.. So I guess you wouldn't care if Messi was sold right??..

Of course we'd care, hey, I bet even you'd care, if he went to another league. It's a long shot, but if it happened, it would never stop me from following football and FC Barcelona. You know why? Because it's a team sport, and it's the team I support. Not the superstars.

Of course, that's just my view.

What about when Kaka' is retired? Will you quit watching football?

Buti my friend, of course not, a player cannot play forever, Kaka' retiring at Milan would be a perfect thing, we could always look back and remember a great player we had as a club.

Some of you guys don't quite understand me, especially arnau.
This means that there will be no Maldini's at Milan, Kaka' could have been the next Maldini, Sheva also, Pato could be in the future, but right now i have a feeling he'll be playing for Chelsea or Real Madrid when he's 24. With Sheva it was a different thing, Sheva wanted to leave, they where forced to sell him, but with Kaka' who want's to end his career at Milan, for Christ's sake he was crying in a training session yesterday cause he doesn't want to leave, if they push him out of the club the the amount of money Berlusconi should have INVESTED in Milan through the last couple of years, Milan will loosetheir integrity and the trust of fans forever. And the last but not least thing, that money certainly won't be used to rejuvenate Milan, it'll go straight to B&G's pocket just like it did with Sheva. So what it is in the end? A club? Something bigger than football? Something to have your hopes for? Something that makes you happy? No! It's a cash machine to some fat fascist.

Maestro Zidane understands :), cheers mate!

The world doesn't revolve around Milan or Kaka himself. The world revolves around money, and it has always been like that. It's naive to ignore that fact. Over the decades football became a business just like any other. Loyalty and sentiment are barely a factor anymore. It's plain reality.

Kaka is one of the greatest players to grace Serie A, and it will be a huge loss, but in Berlusconi's eyes it's logical to accept such an offer. Players come and go. To people like Berlusconi and any other corporate leader Kaka is capital. An investment. When some Arab billionaire comes by and offers you an amount of money so out of proportion it's his job to acknowledge it and accept it, no matter how rich he already is. This is the way the world works in any line of business.

I do understand your sentiment and sense of Kaka's supposed loyalty (to Deni). I'm a sentimentalist myself, and when it would come to Juve I'd probably feel the same way. Just try to stay cold below the surface and remember it's all nothing anyway.

I know man, thanks, well there's nothing i can do, but i will hope till the last second that Kaka' will stay, or that Berlusconi will be hit with a blue '99 Honda Civic. :)

How can it possibly be different with Messi, It's the same thing as with Kaka', he is more of a symbol of Milan than Maldini is ever since he came here and he's more humble than any footballer on the face of the earth, and even wants to stay but he might still go because of ******* Milan management. And if Barca get an idiotic offer you also cannot guarantee that they won't jump for the money.
