Your thread looks awesome, I think I have to re-model mine. Great signing with Cissokho I'm actually impressed with Galliani on this one.

I remember when I used to open the threads, it would literally be like one sentence and an emoticon. Well done, Deni.

Cissokho in means Janku up to midfield for sure, and I can see us implementing a new style of attack. Dzeko in means him and Pato could form a strike partnership. Hopefully Nesta recovers and gets back to his old form so him and Silva could solidify our defense for the first time in what seems like ages.

Abbiati (or new GK)
Zambrotta Nesta Silva Cissokho
Pirlo
Gattuso-----------Jankulovski
Ronaldinho
Pato Dzeko

Note that Ambro isn't even in my starting line-up. I really hope he gets transferred, never liked him. Of course this is a tentative line-up and I hope we make a few more transfers before the season starts (with Pirlo possibly leaving).

Hopefully the third one will be gone this summer too!
Is it just me or is Kaka's face dented on this pic? Lol, did we sell them damaged goods?

Anyways, thanks Rony, NigerianMiracle and Coruja, glad you guys like it!

I agree Rony, with Pirlo, Gattuso and Flamini I cannot see how is Ambrosini going to play in the first 11, and if Jankulovski won't be sold, he'd be in front of Ambro for that midfield position as his defending is the same as Ambro's but his crossing and overall attacking play is 10x better, plus Leonardo loves wingers.

I actually think we may vary from the formation you suggested to the one with Dinho on the left wing and Pato on the right with Džeko (Hopefully) in the middle, to break the defence, we'll have more of a mobile and interchanging frontline, and I am quite looking forward to it. It's the season before WC and Ronaldinho hasn't impressed in the last one so he just may be motivated to resurrect himself this season, that and finally being the sole playmaker of the team and finally been given freedom, i hope Dinho will have a good year, as for Pato i think he will explode this season, plus if we sign Džeko if he can repeat his goalgetting maneuvers we'll be flying high this season, a couple more hungry players to add to the ones already here and we're gonna have an interesting team. Plus i'm really interested to see what will they come up with if we sell Pirlo! Anyways everything is changing in Milan so i'm open to sales of a lot of players, though Pirlo I really like.

I like Pirlo but his laziness on the pitch really irks me. You just cant be that slow to react when you're playing in front of the back 4. His best seasons came when Rino was healthy and at his best because from that right wing position he'd be coming back and defending all game, which let Pirlo off the loose most of the time. However with Rino's injury problems these past couple of seasons, you can see Pirlo's game has really fallen off.

I agree, but his playmaking is still insane especially when he's got the whole game on his shoulders, I wouldn't mind keeping him, plus he's Italian and we need to keep our identity, if someone I'd like Seedorf to go, he's certainly not first 11 material anymore and he's 3 years older than Pirlo.

Nice starting of thread/thread design and nice outlines. I used those style and it was really good. Btw I hope Milan may be successful on next season.

Thanks!

As for next season, I'm really looking forward to it, a new coach after 8 years, star player sold, legend retired, many others will also probably be sold, hopefully more than a few new players come in, and certainly the ones we bought + Džeko if he comes will all be starters - a new play system and a new lineup, it will push the players to do good, finally Milan will have grit! Can't wait to watch them play!

OMG!! €15Mil was a bargain!!!!!!!

What a ******* beast!!!! And they say he was like this in every game he played!

Agree Mus, Milan and Juve make Serie A great, no wonder Serie A has fallen down with Inter only performing, as much as I love Kaka' i now think that Milan will be a stronger team without him, we had to sacrifice him to build a new team, and it's ok, things come and go, now i look forward to seeing a strong Milan from next season on. Looking forward to this next season, i think there will be much more competition in Serie A and the leage just might be more interesting without some stars! :)

Some of the best fullbacks in history have played in Italy, most of them (especially in Milan Maldini, Serginho, Cafu, Zambro the latest), i wouldn't say it's easy to be a great defender in Italy, it's even harder for fullbacks as they are alone on their flank in most cases and have to do all the work themselves. I'd sooner say it's harder to be great in Italy as a back, than easier, in any case i believe Cissokho will be great.

Coruja

They're underestimate him... He's not perfect (he's young). But he has potential to be a top player. But i agree with the fact that he runs like a duck. xD

Arnau

Samuel, zambrotta, cannavaro, thuram where top defenders in italy, they come to spain and become good as ivan campo, oleguer presas, paco pavon or jonathan woodgate. Thats a fact.

It's always hard to get used to a new league at the age of:

Cannavaro ( 32 )
Thuram ( 31 )
Zambrotta ( 30 )

Different game style, and with this age it's hard to get used to a new rythm too. Samuel may be just a coincidence.
