The third spot in the italian league it's not so bad for a vintage team!:)

Even so,they have secured another presence in the Champions League Group stage for the 2010-2011 season!;)

PS:Congratulations for the 3-0 win over Juventus last night!:)

where's the new season thread? no active Milanisti?

Ronnie's on fire tonight, and is linking really well with Pato ... it may only be Lecce, but 3-0 could and should easily have been 7/8-0 at halftime, which is quite emphatic, and with attractive interplay to boot ...

the Milan defence has been largely untroubled, though it is very obvious that wingbacks Bonera and Antonini will be eaten alive by elite teams ...

Zlatan is watching from the stands (making an introductory appearance in a halftime "ceremony") ... on paper, Borriello is by far and away the weak link to be replaced by Ibra up front ... and he has been playing like it too, with the pressure to perform getting the better of him ...

The Maestro Rui Costa! that's a good enough reason (H) ... yeah man, create the thread! you can modify Deni's first post from this season if you want ...

it's a guarantee that we'll have discussions, coz there are a few Milanisti on SG, and I'm sure once the season (especially Champions League, especially that group) kicks off in earnest, there will be much to discuss, and a lot of visitors to the thread who will have things to say ...

Just ask a mod to make this a timeless Milan thread, like Ajax.

Is Huntelaar leaving now that Ibra's there?

apparently to Schalke ... but then Borriello's come out and said he may leave (to Juve, apparently), right after the match today ... hopefully the latter is true, and the former isn't ... I can't see Allegri letting 2 of his strikers go; but one? sure ...

Berlusconi said after the game that he may gift another "Campione" to the club, maybe Robinho, thats the reason why borriello wanna leave

not bad to have options in attack ... some rotation will need to happen if the team is serious about fighting for silverware, especially on more than one front ...

but, more than anything, Milan desperately need quality wingbacks ... Antonini isn't bad, but he should be a handy squad player, rather than the best wingback option at both right AND left back ... in Europe, Bonera's shortcomings will be wholly exposed ... Jankulovski's golden days are looong behind him ... and Abate is a makeshift option at best ... if Genoa are really listening to offers for Bocchetti, Milan should be trying their best to land him (use the cash from the Huntelaar / Borriello sale) ... Cristián Zapata would also be an excellent option for his total defensive versatility ...

Robinho, Ibra, Boateng, Pato, Ronaldinho.. a lot of troublemakers to succes. Great team for PS3 thought.

atm, Milan can only wish!

they brought in some defender called Bruno on loan from River ... I know nothing of him ... if anyone here does, feel free to post thoughts / videos ...

some kind of player guy
Right Wingback, there is the only thing i know.. He came from River Plate Montevideo, no the Argentinian big club.

Galliani is also talking with Raiola about Maxwell for the left , and Sokratis Papastathopoulos can also play Right Back.

Ronaldinho+Robinho= Happy Disco Owners
