Accent marks when you create a player

I created a player and I can't figure out how to give one of the letters in his name an accent mark (I have an American English keyboard). Copying and pasting doesn't work and from what I can tell, created players don't seem to show up in the database (can't find them inr DBM). I'd prefer not to use Creation Master to create any players. Any ideas? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I searched all over and couldn't find anything.

And for stadiums too (in my career mode, my team's stadium name needs an accent)...so how do you use accent marks in FIFA?

If you use Windows, have you tried using alt codes? It works fine for me. Here's a list of alt codes : http://symbolcodes.tlt.psu.edu/accents/codealt.html

To use them, hold down the alt/alt Gr key and type in the numbers using the number pad.
