AFC Ajax Thread[2005/2006]

I think we have a great chance in the next chance. Just as long as boukhari does not play and we have Galasek and Sneijder back. Grygera will miss the next leg I have read. Huntelaar is a great buy, exactly what we needed, now if only we could get another good striker.

Wow although it was 2-2 what a first half! :lui:
It's been a long time since I experienced an atmosphere like this in the stadium :) We were all singing and cheering on the team.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar did it again so all the sorry stories about that he can only score against bad teams IN YOUR FACE!! :ewan: this guy is fast, his technique is great and above all he is very strong, the way he defended Cordoba was awesome and let's not forget John Heitinga who really was very very good tonight. Boukhari did some good things but he is always poor in his solo actions, the 2nd goal from Inter was indeed his fault :(
2-2 is a score nobody thought would be the endscore but it is and I think we can be very proud of our team and they will fight very hard in Milan in three weeks I'm sure about that..
It was a long time since I saw Ajax played like this in the first half, Inter was nowhere and we showed them all corners of the field :p

We have to make damn sure as Ajaxfans that they won't sell Sneijder cause I see a very important role for him starting next season!
Next season we can only become stronger with players like Stam and Perez and they're still not done so a few other players will be added soon as well.
The awaygame won't be a formality but Ajax in Italy.... we'll know in three weeks. Wouldn't it be a kick if we beat Inter at their own turf :p
First job that lies ahead is Heracles away on sunday, not an easy team to beat but we'll beat them anyway i'm sure of that so we can continue the positive series in the competition and maintain 4th place!

Emmanuelson is a fantastic talent BTW. It's the first time I've seen him play in a game (it's only been highlights before), and he wowed me. He made Figo look useless and his attacking instints are great as well.

Damn hearts-broken from what I've read. I couldn't see it since I was in Austria where they call stadiums 'The Arnold Schwarzenegger stadion', 'nuff said...

Gonna be hard to beat them now Inter will relax and go 0-0 at Giuseppe Meazza and we're beaten on a harsh way again by an Italian club. :nape:

Victoryseries continues with a win today :D
Heracles was beaten with 1-3 by our lads
1-1 was made by THE HUNTER (of course) :lui:
2-1 TIMISELA (scores in his 2nd official game for Ajax) First Angelos hit the post.
3-1 Ryan Babel (who wasn't cheering much for this goal, he is unhappy in Amsterdam it seems since he wants to be a first team player from the start.
Blind had to change places in the team again because of the abscenses (Heitinga OUT FOR SIX WEEKS :(, Gryga (suspended), Sneijder (injury).
Maduro was defender today and he did well, so did Vermaelen but he is a great defender ;)
Next week Sparta Rotterdam homegame so we should win that one without any problems which means that we win for the fifth time in a row.
AZ lost against P$V today so they can forget the title, congrats to Hiddink and P$V it's only a matter of time now before they can celebrate the championship. Hopefully we can cheer at the end of next season again.

With so many personal problems I'm proud of the team to fight back like that. Great for Timisela too to score his first goal. :)

We're on a good run of results, although admitted not against the highest ranks of the league.

Transfer news:

Rasmus Lindgren goes to Groningen. He already played there this season on loan, but in july he'll join as a full Groningen player. A shame since I think he has some talent, intresting to see how he'll make progress the next year(s) in Groningen.

OMGGGGG AJAX WAS AWESOME TODAY :lui: :bob::bob:
The attacking was there, the fantastic actions were there but most of all it was 6-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and three points for us :D

The two first goals were scored by Nourdin Boukhari within 10 minutes and I say good on ya Nourdin! His revenge against the whistling and booing is there and I'm very happy for him too.
and there he was again and again and again HATTRICK FOR "THE HUNTER" KLAAS-JAN HUNTELAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR this guy is out of this world and to finish a perfect week off Thomas Vermaelen scored a great goal as well. Ajax is buzzinggggggggggggg at the moment and it's all down to Huntelaar. The way he claimed the penalty said it all, Rosales wanted to take the free kick but KJ simply took the ball and scored the goal and he is only 19 years old too. Man he looked like van Basten in his early days and he is on nr 3 on the EUROPE topscorers list unbelievable, he is now better than Ruud van Nistelrooy. Luca Tony is still on nr 1 but if the Hunter keeps scoring like this he will give him a run for his money as well.
I'm sure a lot of foreign big clubs want to sign him already but we got him and we won't let him go for years, hell he don't want to go abroad anyway, not yet. Makaay should be very afraid for his spot on the Dutch national team cause KJ is coming!!
Let's not forget the way Rosenberg played cause he was so very important today again, sure he didn't score but he was very close and he had an assist for almost every goal!

Next week against P$V and I know one thing for sure, the Hunter will score again since he scores every week. 12 goals in 10 games is unbelievable.
If we play next week like we did today then P$V is gonna have a real hard time. It will be hard to beat them but don't forget the fake dive that Farfan made in the last game, they only won with 1-0 thanks to that.

Heerenveen, Groningen and Utrecht lost so we are 5 points ahead and still on nr 4 :brow:

And here he is THE HUNTERRRRRRRRR

Now let's hope we can give PaardenStront Vereniging pay back for last year. I predict 3-0, KJH hattrick. (H)

Biggest mistake PSV ever made :lui: cause now he is ours and he will for sure score at least one goal against that crappy defense of PSV, Ooijer injured, Reiziger injured hahahahahahahaha only Alex and he won't stop our attackers cause they are way too fast for his fat ass. KJH, Rosenberg and Rosales will beat him if it comes to speed :p
Like I said its going to be hard to win but I think we'll have a chance if we play like yesterday and it's about time we beat P$V at our own turf!
Trabelsi will take care of Koné like he did with Bouaouzan yesterday :chew:
We have a score to settle with that schwalbeking Farfan who caused the penalty and the only goal in Eindhoven, let's kick him under the grass fellas!!

Well the new youth coaches are known for next season. Frank de Boer, Michel Kreek, Casimir Westerveld and Aron Winter will have to guide the young starlets to the first team.

Just got back from the ArenA and man was it cold brrrrrrrrrr -5 degrees or smth and sitting on the stands believe me you freeze your ass off :chew:

Anyway 0-0 against PSV, last time this happens was since 1960 or smth :o
Viewing the whole game we were better and stronger, too bad we missed the chances. Rosenberg had 3 to 4 chances and the Hunter was a few times very dangerous. Simons hit the post in the 1st half for P$V and Farfan had a chance and that was about it for them. Our defense played really well and Trabelsi OWNED Koné, he won almost every duel with him, Koné really should've been sent off the pitch with red when he grabbed Trabelsi but noooooooo that f*cking ref refused and we were really livid! Alex had his hands full with Klaas-Jan but it's hard to pass him. Gomes showed his class again cause every chance we had ended with him man what a goalkeeper

All in all It's a pity and dissapointment we didn't win cause tonight we were better and had every chance of doing so but I'm not too unhappy to tell ya the truth. We played well and I have every confidence for the game against Inter on tuesday. It will be hard to win that one but we have a chance if we play like this, create chances and score goals of course.
One thing was not very smart on Danny Blind's side and that is to sub Rosenberg in the 75th minute for Babel cause in my opinion Markus was man of the match together with Vermaelen and Lindenbergh. Worth mentioning are also Urby and Huntelaar but Markus was very strong today.

In conclusion: P$V had a few chances but we ruled the ArenA and that was a long time ago against them :D
Ruud Gullit just said in his analyzing speech on Talpa that Ajax deserved the win cause P$V was not good in his eyes. They only played the long ball towards Vennegoor and didn't want to lose the game in midfield. He said that Ajax must've gained confidence out of this game for Inter and Danny Blind was very satisfied with the way Ajax played this game and held the clean sheet.

On to Milan and let's hope for a good game and maybe more...

Pienaar and Boukhari are pathetic. Good thing they'll be gone after this season.

Very boring game today, we were outclassed by Inter from the start, and Figo tormented Juanfran for the entire game. Where was Urby?!! I don't understand why Pienaar was even playing in the first place, he was so useless in fact the most he did was kissing Inter players' asses by patting them on the back and giving them gay friendly smiles. Huntelaar was shadowed by Materazzi for the entire game and couldn't do anything. Rosenberg tried hard but couldn't make much happen, he was wide open on the left on a couple of occassions but his teammates didn't pass to him.

The 4-3-3 didn't work at all today. We had no midfield and therefore we couldn't create anything. Almost all of our chances came from a couple of lucky runs by Trabelsi and Rosales, nothing else. Cambiasso controlled the centre of the park for Inter pretty much and their big men at the back gave our forwards no room to breathe. Inter simply played better and more physical and they had better players in the likes of Figo and Stankovic, we were pretty lucky that Inter missed so many good chances because Adriano is so sh1t lately.

I think Thomas Vermealen played well today (Y) made some crucial block shots and has good anticipation. If he can put on more muscle he would be a great centre back for us and Belgium. Anyways, the game probably would've been different if we had Heitinga healthy so Maduro could control the midfield, and if we had the likes of Sneijder and Urby playing.

Again 1-0 damn Italians, I say we should've had a penalty after Materazzi made handsball. Good thing Adriano was out of shape today or it would've been worse :(
Urby sustained an injury just before the game, has something to do with his legmuscles or smth it's not sure yet :nape:
Man we could've sure used him and Wesley as well and let's not forget Gryga.
No this was not a good time to play against Inter at all!
Huntelaar was a shadow comparing with the last matches he played in the team and Materazzi won almost every duel too.
Only good thing that it stayed 1-0 and not a beating like PSV had, our defense was not that bad today although Trabelsi had the day off I think, his first touch in the first seconds of the game was immediately a throw for Inter.
Next season with Perez, Stam, Krohn-Dehli and other new players we go for it again but first we have to reach the play-offs and if it continues like this we have to face AZ so that sucks..
Damn Italians always winning with one goal difference sh*t :boohoo:

Now on to FC Groningen on Sunday in the new Euroborg stadium, if we win that one our position on the fourth place in the ranking will be much more secure.

Juanfran is crap, you take that from me. For the rest we made futile attemps to go past Samuel and Materazzi, if only we had a defense like that. It could've been worse, the only good thing in the game was that Adriano missed that PK cause it was as much as a penalty as some claim we should've had.

lol yea watching Juanfran get schooled by Figo in every duel was just pathetically hilarious. He always tries to play the ball off Figo for it to go out but everytime it just bounces off him instead lol. And his crosses were so rubbish.
