The injury for Emanuelson is not severe, he will probably return in the team when Ajax plays against Groningen on sunday and if he won't make it then it will be vs Roda for the Gatorade Cup on wednesday.

FVCK WE LOST THE GAME AGAINST GRONINGEN WTFFFFFFFFF :nape: :kader:
Ajax played with a B-team in midfield, Timisela,Sarpong came on for Pienaar (injured again) and the debut for Vurnon Anita (16yrs old!!!)
In the very last minute before the game Maduro wasn't able to play (Flu)
the HUNTER scored a fantastic goal after a great assist from Markus but it was not enough. Vermaelen made handsball and the penalty was 1-0 to Groningen. 1-1 Huntelaar. Then again 2-1 and Vermaelen headed the 2-2 in so he made up for his handsball. But then he tackled a player and got red carded :( so he was sent off!
With 10 men against a much stronger Groningen it became 3-2 to Groningen and that's that

Damn shame cause if we had won we were well clear from them and were strongly on fourth place. Now we're still on fourth position but Utrecht is only 1 point behind us on fifth!!?
We have to be very carefull cause we could well be outside the first five and this means NO Champions League :(
That's not the case right now but the loss against Groningen is a big one :jambo:

On wednesday against Roda JC for the Gatorade Cup, that will be in Amsterdam so we will win this one for sure. Probably with Sneijder back and Galasek but that's not sure yet..
And next weekend against NAC Breda without Vermaelen so gonna be hard again but again we'll have home advantage so i'm sure we will provail.

Damn this reminded me of the Twente game but atleast we won that time. All the time it was Groningen ahead Ajax levelling and than Groningen taking the lead again. Man how dissapointing, I really hoped and thought we could push for a winner after Vermaelen's leveller but two minutes after that Groningen score. :kader:

Damn CL-playoffs aren't certain at all yet. :(

I've watched the pressconference after the game and Danny Blind was really dissapointed but who can blame him. Still he had problems with injuries and guys getting sick he did the best he can.
Let's stay positive and we will stay behind our team of course, next week NAC at home should be three points and let's hope Groningen and Utrecht will drop some points in the weeks to come.
If we had a complete team today we would've won I'm sure of that but it wasn't to be.. :(
Boukhari was sh*t again today, he lost important balls on midfield, I like the guy but when he plays like this..

The race for fifth place is gonna be interesting till the end. I still believe Ajax will manage it, but they'll definitely need some of their players back. Yesterday's line up was a compelete joke. Not that I'm complaining :) .

Guys, intresting news this, Piet Keizer one of the most legendary players in the golden era of the seventies is gonna fill in a role as technical advisor. He played a respectable total of 490 games for us winning on his way 3 european cup's and several league titles.
I think it'll be something like Wim Jansen is doing ATM at Feyenoord. Intresting to see how this works out

FINALS AGAINST P$V AND THIS TIME WE WILL WIN!!

What an unbelievable game this was against Roda for the semifinals :o
I was just about to leave the stadium when it was 1-0 to Roda in the 94th minute of the game when the HUNTERRRRRRRRRRRRRR SCORED A BEAUTIFUL GOAL BICYCLEKICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK unbelievable this guy is truly amazing (but we knew that already ;)
After 2x 15 minutes extra time it was 4-1 to us and we won it :)
2x Huntelaar and 2x Babel
Charisteas was absolutely brilliant as well when he came on the pitch.
7 may Finals against P$V who were awfull against AZ.
We didn't play well at all during the 2x 45 mins but the last half hour Ajax was buzzzzzzzzzzzing attacking attacking football at it's best :lui:
Well we did it, now on to NAC this weekend, again a home game.
What a night YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS now I really hope we can kick the lightbulbs back to 040, gonna be a great final I know that already..

Klaas saves us and saves the season again!
My word he's gonna be a real ace striker or wait he already is! :rockman:
And good subtituting by Blind. Galasek assisted one goal Charisteas assisted two and Ryan scored two.

Let's replay the '98 final guys! :lui:

Yeah what a party that was with 5-0 back then.
A hattrick for Jari was his reward.
I remember when we all starting singing 'JODEN JODEN' and that the players were swinging and clapping on the same rhytm. The African players had their own funny dance of course :p
Now I like to sign up for that scenario again but realisticly it will be hard to defeat them again. We have to start where we finished off last week against them, be agressive and strong and we have the HUNTERRRRRRR. So many clubs are envious of our striker hehe and this is only the beginning cause he just started his career in Amsterdam. This lad will bring us lots of joy and celebration in the coming years :lui:
Who is the best striker now?? Dirk.... Dirk........ Dirk who? :boohoo:

Yesssssssss fantastic news I agree, today there were speculations from the Italian media that he would go to Italy ridiculous fools :fool:
Good to see that Urby is staying for a long time to come well done Ajax!!
Now I also read that Ajax is very interested in Simon Cziommer who now is playing for Roda JC and his contract ends this summer with Schalke.
Roda JC wants to keep him and so does FC Twente, now if you can go to Ajax... would you stay with Roda or go to a middleclass team like Twente :chew:  I can't wait to see what his choice will be..
I think that he could be an asset to the team on the right, scores goals and takes good freekicks, the future is looking brighter today with Stam, Perez, Krohn Dehli on the way and now maybe Cziommer as well.
Let's hope Sneijder will follow Urby's example and stay at the club although I think he will :)

Not sure about Cziommer. I'm a bit afraid he could become a new Sikora type guy, than again he could become a Huntelaar aswell... :D

Youth Team
Ajax are interested in Steaua's winger Banel Nicolita and in Ogararu (RB). Danny Blind went to the Steaua-Rapid derby to watch these two + Ionut Rada from Rapid (have no idea what position he plays in :p,he's a midfielder i think)

Banel and Ogararu are very young and fast, i think they both fit in you offensive style. Ogararu is one of my favourite players, offensive RB with an impressive technique and the guts to use it in big games.

Steaua's general manager announced that Banel may be sold only after the next season. I'd like'em both to play at Ajax, after they win us some silverware of course :D

Well I've seen Nicolita play in these matches and I like him. He plays good and I think he can be an asset for our team, I don't know Ogararu very good..
Tomorrow AZ Alkmaar, fingers crossed guys

WE DID IT!! :lui: :fool: :rockman: :ewan:
The play-offs and the 4th place in the end of the competition is not bad at all considering the bad luck, bad refs and bad play this season.
So it will be 010 once again for two games in the play-offs starting on wednesday. This is the time to set things straight and get our revanche people, we need to eliminate them to go through and it will be tough.

The win with 2-4 today against RKC was an easy one in the end, Boukhari scored a great goal again and the Hunter twice, topscorer in de Eredivisie with 33 goals!!!!!! o yessssssssssss this guy is awesome.
Heitinga scored a goal as well and a good one too I might add..
But there is bad news as well, Rosenberg had to walk off the pitch early in the game because of an injury :( Pienaar played 15 minutes and Emanuelson is back as well. On wednesday we can count on Sneijder and Trabelsi hopefully cause we really need them and let's hope that Rosenberg can play.
Stekelenburg sustained an injury as well so Vonk had to defend the goal in the 2nd half. Man I hope that Maarten will be back on wednesday cause he is in an absolutely fantastic form right now and we need him against 010 with Kuyt and Kalou.

Ajax played in their new awaykits and it's a classy one I must say, black with red and three white crosses representing Amsterdam on the side looks really cool.

On to wednesday and hopefully Champions League next season!

Good win for us but again injuries that come into our path. Now it's Markus and Maarten who are injured. :(
Hopefully Wesley and Hatem will be back in time for the play-offs.

Damn, I don't know where we would've ended up this season if it wasn't for Klaas's goals.
