Well after going through alot of trouble for this, Bruno Silva from Groningen has finally been signed. He's a right back and I think that's one of the positions we definatly needed a player, so a good buy I think.

Fantastic win against Utrecht with a stunner of a goal from our Hunter 
2-0 well deserved we were superior during the game.
Urby got kicked out of the match in a real dirty manner
and he was carried off the pitch on a stretcher.
Thomas Vermaelen is back and immediately he showed how important he is and not a moment to soon as well.
This weekend Vitesse away, next wednesday PSV Home and the sunday after that Feyenoord home. That's not all because in two weeks we face Roda away. I'm happy that the injuries are almost over, we have Silva now, Davids, Perez, Vermaelen, Leonardo so now we should get a good result out of those games!
Oh and Ajax will make a second bid for Orlando Engelaar this week and Engelaar really wants to come but he's willing to wait untill the summer if need be.

I think we'll have to wait atleast half a year for Engelaar. Would be a nice signing though.
Good victory over Utrecht, certainly because of the way we played, they didn't stand a chance. For a moment I thought it was going to be such a frustrating afternoon again, but fortunatly it didn't when Klaas scored his goal and 10 minutes later Johnny.

Engelaar is still hoping to come to Ajax within this week but Twente has to cooperate of course.
More transfernews: It seems that Ajax wants Rasmuss Lindgren back, he already played for us once but he grew to be an assett for Groningen.
Also Sami Kuffour will be joining us this monday in defense, he was a player for Bayern Munich for many years, monday he will get a medical and if he gets through that he will be Ajacied.

Well Ogararu plays never really crap, but also never excells. He's going to have to show more now that he isn't the only good right back we've got in our selection with the signing of Silva.
Mitea has attended the hospital more than trainings, I think. Talented player, but his body just can't handle professional football. Ajax wants to ship him off to another club.

Silva did great on his debut today keeping Ogararu out of the starting 11.
2-2 against fietstas where we had so many chances to win it but the ball was saved off the line two times!

Two transfers sealed in one day, guys. Not surprising ones though. Kuffour and Lindgren both join Ajax from respectively Roma and Groningen.

We have to win this and if not we MUST win on sunday against 010 or the gap will be too wide to close. But if we win both the margin will be very close and we have a good chance. 5 points behind PSV right now so let's keep our fingers crossed, good thing for us is that Affelay has been suspended for this game because IMO he is one of the best in de Eredivisie.

Title race over? One may say so with Feyenoord drawing AZ 2-2. Damn this majestically s*cks. That's it, although one might argue we had a bigger deficit gap last season, but still...

I don't know but PSV was better and more efficient it's the hard truth.
Two chances two goals where we had more chances but didn't score. Suarez was so close a few times but no goals so that's the story basically.

and before that he lunged into Farfan and escaped... and now we have to miss him on sunday against Feyenoord.

so how good is engelaar cuz it seems Porto is interested
He's the captain of FC Twente and an important player for them, he can pass, he can shoot he can score. He's a strong long player who can make other players better during the game.
He's not real fast, sometimes he makes stupid fouls because of that.
Porto interested? He wants to come to Ajax though in the summer so I would be surprised if he goes abroad but you never know.
We almost had him this week, he wanted to come to Ajax and Ajax wanted him but the club didn't cooperate

This was by far the easiest win I've every witnessed against Feyenoord :Carlos*o: it started from the kickoff where Hunter could've scored immediately

Feyenoord was incredibly weak and we should've won it with 6 0r 7-0.
We were not even that great but some attacks and the last goal (chip from Lindgren as assist) from Klaas-Jan was a beauty!
I had a great time this afternoon in de Arena but why set fire to our own stadium??
Lots of smoke filling up the stadium and it stank
Anyways we are in 2nd position 8 points behind PSV so anything is still possible, next week Roda JC away and they are real strong so we'll see how that one goes.
