I would love to start some FIFA 20 face modeling, but some "smart" guys that do faces for 20 denied helping me learn, telling me "sorry dude, it's a secret amongst us"...
I feel the same way about the face making community... not all - but most - act like there isn’t any community and that more modders is not better!?!? They post only on Twitter or YouTube. I so prefer to use SGF, but the Fifa 20 fan base is larger on Discord. I don’t care for discord servers... because I find they move at a pace which makes it feel like a reddit post. I think that pace creates unfriendly and uncooperative interaction.
It’s kind of funny it’s called ‘Discord’ given that the definition of the word is “disagreement between people.” lol

Totally agree. The main reason of not sharing knowledge about face making is because they fear they'll lose "clients'. You see, most modders take money in the background for a face, then release it afterwards "out of pure love for their favourite game and the community". Makes me sick...

Funny how both football video games (with FUT) and modding has commercialized in parallel in the recent years.
FIFA made dozens of legends/icons faces but you can't even access them in the game unless you spend cash on their FUT cards.
'Modders' now selling often mediocre additions to the game whereas gigantic patches and whole tool sets were (and to some point still are) created and shared by and for the community.
