Sadly enough Danish teams have a problem playing it cool and efficient. We usually create 20 chances and 0 goals, and allows the opponent 1 easy chance in a game. That's why you'll never see a Danish team reaching the top of Europe.

Greek football is very good especially on club levels but over these last years IN MY OPINION we have surpasseed you at national team level. We are firstly a much smaller country than you in terms of population and football isn't even our most followed sport. In fact it's the third or fourth followed sport.I haven't seen any formula 1 world champions from greece, an skiing world champions, any olympic legends,
any ice-hockey legends, any 7 time rally world champs, any BIG firms like Nokia or anything else. From a country our size it is a big acievement and I don't want to hear any of your crap unless you have something smart to say for once ...

Oh and you said you have better women than us... I am not making fun of anyone here but Pamela Anderson has her roots in Finland and we always end up high in the miss universe competitions while I don't see greece anywhere. Nordic women are the best in the world as said on the Jay Leno show!!!

After the NBA the best league in the world is the Greek league. Rated always in the top 5 at the NT level. 3 of the past 4 European champions are Greek teams. Finalist like 7 or 8 years in a row, lost count. But enough with that. This is a soccer forum. I want to know why Finland is better than Greece. Does it have a better league? Have there teams had more success at the European compititions then ours? Why is there national team better than ours? Is it because Greece lost to Albania? What about the match that happenedjust recently were greece beet finland. Doesn't that account for anything? If you wan't it on a player to player basis that's fine. Other than Litmanen who I must admit I once admired but now is very much past his prime who else does the finish team have? Ok now I haven't posted in a while because frankly it's getting boring. But he's the truth plain and simple:

Greece is not a "World Power" Soccer Nation.

We do not have 1 "World Class" player like a Figo,Zidane etc...

Our best players are good, but not that good.

Our NT is also not good. Are we qualifying for WC's?? Euro's?? NO.

Our club teams though have been improving every year. OLYMPIAKOS and PANATHINAIKOS are both in position to qualify for the 2nd round of the CL.

ALL our Uefa Cup teams advacned to the 2nd round, and 2-3 look to be going to the 3rd.

But the question in this topic has been the whole time is Greece better than Finland. The answer is YES.

Isn't our League, Clube teams better than Finlands??

The Greek NT is also better than Finland. BOTH COUNTRIES haven't qualified for a damn thing, but the difference is Finland use to be like a Faroe Islands... They were the team in the group to to take 6 pts away and beat 4-0. Yes they have improved, but they still suck...Greece is better, not by a whole lot, but we are better!

PS Finland don't 1 "World Class" player either. Litemanen USE to be, but isn't anymore. He doesn't even start for Barca...but Figo did. Bottom line is in 2000 Greece and Finland both don't have any...

Georgatos went to Italy, cracked the starting 11 and become AWSOME. If he would have stayed, he would have become a "World Class" player.

Inter didn't kick him out. Actually they offered MORE money for him to stay. But Georgatos was homesick...I can understand to. He missed Greece, his family, his friends, the food... lol

I have talked to many Inter friends and Italians in General who respect Greek Football now because of him. We was one of Inter's best players last year. He was voted in the top 3 (or 5?) defenders in SERIE A!!!!!!

So don't just throw insults when u really don't know what your talking about...

Speaking of insults, it's pathetic. U all don't need to kuss, it shows a lack of inteligence. Both for Greeks and the others. The Greek way is to beat someone with the mind, that dates back to ancient times. It's the Turkish way to just hurl insults... so stop.
