I really don't know what was the reason he came home, but i've seen him play and I KNOW he wouldn't have become a World Class player if he stayed there longer, because most of the time he was merely a substitute and even if he started a few games sooner or later Inter was gonna buy a very expensive player to fill his place....

OK, you state that you have 4 world class players... hmm let's see... Jari Litmanen. He had reached the world class level and my hat goes off to him. BUT, he was only a world class player when he played for Ajax Amsterdam. After Louis Van Gaal left Ajax for Barcelona, he took players of his choice with him from Ajax like Kluivert, Deboer, and Litmanen. Had it not been for Van Gaal Litmanen wouldn't have ended up in a team with the likes of Barcelona. It only happened b/c Van Gaal liked him and i support this b/c now you see that there is just no way Litmanen can play with so many other world class players in a team like that. The age factor is also taken into consideration, however, the bottom line is that Jari Litmanen was once a world class players and b/c of that he will always be remembered as of one and no Greek, Turk, Albanian, Russian or anybody else will disrespect him. Now as of the other 3 world class players that Finland has... name them... Hyppia? I wouldn't classify him as a world class player but more like a middle class player. Georgatos, Choutos, Liberopoulos are all middle class players... We only claimed that Greece is better than finland in National Team level... Denis- Inter offered Georgatos double the money b/c they wanted to keep him... speaking of inteligence i don't think Inter is stupid enouph to pay so much money for a substitute... and if you realy want to know... you football no nothing... Georgatos didn't start the first 5 matches for Inter... then he was a regular for the rest of the season, except one or two times that he was injured... now... tell me, who did Inter have that could have replaced him?

Per Zetterberg told the media that he came to Olympiakos party for the money ofcourse (but he also said that he would have came to Olympiakos with less money, as he had offers from Fiorentina and Arsenal with more money offered to him that Olympiakos), because he wanted a more chalenge and b/c he wanted to play for Olympiakos b/c HE SAID they are at a higher lever than Anderlecht, and b/c the Greek league is better than the Belgium League ACCORDING TO HIM, but he didn't fail to mention that he will always love Anderlecht, and that one day he might return, that's why Olympiakos and Anderlecht have a good relationship and Olympiakos is sponsoring a section of the Anderlecht offical website to inform Anderlecht fans about Per.

Olympiakos made a mistake and pushed forward the Zahovic deal, and the reason he came here was b/c of the good relationship between Olympiakos and Porto. The president of Porto said that "if Zahovic wants to leave Porto he will go nowhere, but Olympiakos", not because of the players will... this is the mistake that Olympiakos made... but they learned their lesson... if you want to be a world class football class you have to not take **** from anybody... whether that is Rivaldo, Del Piero, or Zahovic... We did not qualify for the knock-out stage, just because in our group was Brazil (1st place in the WC) and Sweden (3rd place in WC) to whom we lost both games, obviously... Plus, our forward Oleg Salenko won the best goalscorer award, and got the golden boot (or some other top award)....
And the WONDERFUL Greece I have been praising here in this topic THE WHOLE time managed to produce people like you... Unless you are not Greek, of course......
