Alex Ferguson chegou a acordo com o Manchester United para prolongar o contrato com o clube inglês até Junho de 2007, devendo assinar segunda-feira o documento, revelou hoje o treinador escocês.

"Estamos de acordo acerca dos detalhes. O meu advogado veio ao jogo no sábado e pudemos discuti-lo um pouco após o encontro", afirmou Sir Alex Ferguson.

A continuação de Ferguson à frente do Manchester United foi colocada em causa esta semana após o técnico ter sido submetido a um tratamento quinta-feira, na sequência de ligeira arritmia cardíaca.

"Estou bem e não tenho qualquer problema. Consultei um médico e está tudo bem. Gosto muito do meu trabalho e vou continuar", explicou Ferguson.

O escocês, que completará 62 anos a 31 de Dezembro, está no Manchester United há 17 anos.

Basically just says that he renewed until 2007, and he spoke about his problem and said everything was good(with the heart problems) and that he likes his job very much and plans to continue. And the article goes on to say he's going to be 62 on the 31st, and that he's been at Man U for 17 years.

Don;t get you hopes up, as soon as Roman realizes that he lost 1/3 of his money on his modern toy, then he will stop spending. It's about 1/15 atm.
