I think you have to remember, i) the stars arent neccasarily the best players, they ARE the players that have a specific skill in one area. Eg. Beckhams free kicks etc.
SO just because Raul isnt a star doest mean anything, he could have the highest rating in the game, and not be a star, because he isnt "extra" special in any particular area. He is just good at everything.

I cant believe taht Ronaldo is a star players... yes, really he is great and maybe one of the best players of the world.. but he is injured... he didnt recovered very well from his injury... then he is plaging badly and he cant play on Inter because he isnt enough good player still then he is going to play 6 months for Palmeiras on Brazil!
