I'm not saying its not happening to you, but in my game i experience no big obviously stutter or anything in my games...
Don't know if this makes a different but what type of video connections are you guys using?
I use components. Try S video or component if you are using AV composite cable. I used to use composite but the quality of the pictures seems to degrade after several games. Switch to components and never look back.

what does this "stutter" look like? do tell? maybe its a certain ps2 issue.
I did not see any stutter in 1 week of playing with the fully-Jap version. I did play one Konami Cup and loads of friendlies.
But ever since I got the 2Die4U latest patch, I've been playing an International Cup and I have noticed a small flickering when the ball is played into the CPU's box and I have 1-2 strikers in there.
It's very minor, not too annoying, but it is something I did not see last week.

I have not patched it, and I experienced no flickering, no stutters..

* Look for any signs of "stuttering" (flick) as the ball gets to the center line, watch more than once if necessary.
* You people sure you haven't seen that in your games? A lot of people, after watching this movie, admit....................................

Is anyone experiencing this bug with the ACTUAL copy of the game?
Maybe your chip is messed up.
I am using a burned copy AND a Magic 3.1 chip with no stuttering whatsoever. If one person in the world has it work perfectly, it means that the stutter bug is not inherent to the game but either
a) the burned disc
b) your PS2 laser or something
c) Your chip

Playing a back up copy DOES NOT mean he is playing a fREE version of the game. Alot of us will buy the game and use CD-R for patching reasons... plain and simple, and he is right, I have NO Stutters
