anyone found ways to add players into a squad?

i've tried editing the db using db master 2.0, but to no avail...
any1 had any success?
if yes, pls advice!

i was actually trying to add david odonkor & jens nowotny to the german squad...
i created 2 new players & copied the attrinutes fr fifa06, mainly touching on player, player_write & team_player_link tables... but nothing happens
i guess it must've been that the players had been hard-coded into the game yeah?
or did i miss out sumthing here?

I just did it today, I added Ben Olsen to the U.S. squad. your on the right track, i used the same program as you. I used the same tables. Better check you .db to see if the changes stayed.

don't forget to change the name or erase the WC folder in my documents.

i havent haf e time 2 edit it now s m very bz wif my work...
but just wondering... since it can b done... will any1 make a patch like e cep 4 wc 06 where we create clubs & tournaments other than e wc tournament itself, s from my personal preference... i thk wc 06 is a better game than fifa06...
Bsides, according to OckHam, e fifa.fat size limitation had been resolved... hence e ability 2 add unlimited (dunno whether it's possible or not) teams into e game!!! > http://www.fifa-mra.com/

It possibly could be done, the structure for the tournaments in the database are a little different, so I don't know if new ones can be added, but I think unlimited teams could be added. But only to play in Friendly games.

The database is more complex also, being all the new bells and whistles that WC 06 has. I haven't added any teams yet, I want to finish the Concacaf Region, and complete all rounds of qualifying. But I haven't done it yet.......

Don't worry, I'm sure 07 will be similar to the WC game. I don't really think the .fat size has been resolved, just that ockman is doing his patch in a different way to allow for more graphics.

man it didnt work for me... how can i add a player to squad using db master? i did all that you said and in the game, in search function my player appear, but he doesnt appear in the squad!! how can i make my player work??

Well, I used the export/import all.

And when I added the players, I made sure that I sorted the data according to player id before I saved, meaning when I'm adding the players in my spreadsheet program (quatro pro, excel, etc.)

and with teamplayerlink I did according to team, then playerid

and I deleted the folder in "my documents" refering to the game

It worked,
