Anyone got any Defensive Tips? (PS3)

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on defence since I get slaughtered offline and online a lot! I'm not that bad going forward but it's useless if you can't defend for beans!

I've tried letting go of the boost button but the attacking team just simply run past me! I've had a case where a defender has run all the way up the field and scored just because I couldn't get a tackle in!

Jockey-ing doesn't seem to do much, again the attackers just go around me easily and onto score, this is on Semi-Pro difficulty aswell.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I am in the same position as you. I dont play online but offline the AI just runs right through my defense for the perfect cross and scores while everyone except my human controlled player sits and watches in amazement. it is quite frustrating. and for me to run down and get pushed away so easily by the AI when ever I try to dribble near them is quite annoying

i just seem to run at em then slow down into a jocky, everythime there running the ball at me it seems to work a peach. Typical run in like a mad man technique
