Are there Leagues in the UEFA 2007 games

I saw video of the game and didn't see a flyout menu for leagues. Just saw champions league teams. I'm afraid ea has duped us again....not a buy, rent.
i thnk that video was just for the Champions League Tournament option, and thus only had 32 teams, I'm sure there's more teams in Play Now or the Treble Mode.

Did the previous CL games have leagues? I can't quite remember, but if not then I wouldn't expect any in this one either..
Let's hope that they at least add some more teams to select from, other than just those who qualified for the CL this year.

yeah I was wondering where the 144 came from too? I've been scouring the net for info on this game since it was first announced and I've never seen anything about how many teams there will be..

I was reading an interview at IGN with a developer of this game and when he's talking about chants he says that even the smaller teams will have authentic chants...he then mentions West Ham and Portsmouth. SO I guess this means there'll be more selection than just CL qualified teams, or maybe leagues after all?

Yes! They have Trophy Presentations!! New chants, spifffier graphics....now, what about gameplay? They haven't mentioned that yet

Looks like there is a 'play now' mode, a Champion's Leage mode (play the final 32 or go through qualifying), the Ultimate Team mode, which I think is basically a generic league, a Challange mode, and the Lounge mode.
As for playing Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, etc...doens't look like it.

Indeed...the Ultimate team mode actually looks pretty cool as well, and playing through the entire UEFA qualifying will be awesome.
EA has once again outdone themselves in terms of presentation- the menus all look fantastic. Small feature, I know, but makes for a more attractive overall package.

oh for sure.. the menus and navigation in this game look amazing, I even liked the relaxed background music. stuff like that always contributes to a better overall experience.

I like the fact that they recorded all new chants live from actual CL games. I actually saw the trophy celebration in one of the movies...I can't beleive they actually thought it was important!!

the couple times I've seen gameplay mentioned it's said that it'll be pretty much the same as FIFA07 with some tweaking and adjustments, there's an article at gamespot where someone says this after a quick hands-on test.
I can't remember where also, but I read somewhere that EA was planning on addressing some gameplay issues based on fan feedback. I beleive heading and player collisions were mentioned. I really hope they get rid of that speed glitch...nothing turns me off more than online cheating.
I quit playing WE9 on PS2 online because it became impossible to find anyone who just wanted to play a good fair game. Some people I swear become way too obsessed with their rankings.. EDIT: ALWAYS playing online against either Barcelona or Brazil didn't help much either, but I guess there's nothing that can be done about that.
