Let's not bitch about it, today's game was by no means dirty! There was a fare amount of tough challenges from both sides but this is England/Argentina after all.

We proved that we were a better team (Before those idiot substitutions of course) I don't think Pekerman would have made those suvstitutions if this wasn't a friendly so I won't be bitter.

Great Match, just as long as Pekerman doesn't f*ck it up like he did today, we have the players to beat England when it counts in Germany.

Im well happy we won 2day, no offence to the Argies in this forum but it was sweat to beat you lot, great game either side could of won, proper end to end stuff Owen was quite for 88 mins then popped up with 2 goals in 5 mins :rockman: all i need now is France to beat Germany.

I think Pekerman has it out for Aimar, I don't know..he refuses to play him...Maybe next time we can put in Aimar instead of Roman?

Tevez and Sorin are just weak little diving shíts. England are a physical side, especially with our strong centre backs and Ledley. I liked that David Beckham was exagerating the challenges too, cos thats how Argentina play all the time.

If those 2 are gonna be so weak, they stand no chance in the WC. At least Riquelme got up and got on with it.

They do stand a chance in the WC, cuz they will get fouls called as well, and that means more free kicks, and that means more possible goals...:D

It seems it was a great match... I wanted to watch it, but of course watching Brazil vs. UAE was a lot more important... :rolleyes:

Watching Owen score two headers was nice, I like the guy, shame Liverpool didn't get him...

As for Tevez diving, that's how he gets most of the fouls in Brazil, so if it works I guess he'll still be doing it for a while... Style of refereeing in Brazil and Europe is so different that I feel calling euro players violent or south am. players cheaters isn't really fair... (not that people called any england player violent in this match, I'm talking generally here)

And Crouch plays for Liverpool... he's supposedly the best reinforcement the reds got this season...

can some1 tell me why the fu.ck ferdinand is starting over campbell? there is absolutely no way ferdinand is better... physically he is but he is always always always out of position for the other teams goals. terry also has positioning problems, while campbell is much much much less prone to being out of position. i just hope sven is smart enough to know that come WC time
