I could imagine if Ireland got a N. Irish coach, they'd fail to qualify for another majour competition and lose every single game.

Erm, Martin O'Neil is Northern Irish.
He is tipped as the favourite to take over from Manchester United.
If we got him, we could qualify for a cup. You have to remember though, there are lik 4m people that live in Northern Ireland, compare that to the 40 million in England.
Anyways, you won't see Australia beating N.Ireland 3-1, oh no.

How about, the people actually get to elect our leader, for better or for......yeah.....um worse as it sometimes ends up.
As for you, why don't you just shut it man, there seems to be this "better than the rest" attitude that comes from almost every regular poster at thedugout, also a decidedly "nerd" vibe since that forum moves at the speed of light and to get, say 6000 posts you have to be there constantly.
I would have thought you'd learn something from having such a good American such as becks over there, I guess not.
