Its exciting to see Lamela, Bojan, and Pjanic on the same pitch. Roma has lots of potential if they keep these players.

Bojan really changed the game for the better, after Roma were looking rather unimpressive; he, Lamela, and Osvaldo make for a very good attacking trident, coz they play off each other well, have very different skill sets, and like to drift (wide/centre) ... that formation also allows Miki Pjanić to play deeper, where he can show his true ability -- that dinked ball over the top for Bojan's breakthrough goal was superb ... Roma's still "under construction", but the potential is there for all to see ...

Roma's been the team with the most possession in all of Serie A ... so it's ironic that their most important win of the season comes after conceding the lion's share of ball possession to a team known for being a counterattacking outfit ... yes, Lucho's team rode their luck against Napoli (2 of the 3 goals scored, Hamšík's unbelievable open-goal miss, and of course the woodwork's good defensive work), but it's this kind of result that can lift spirits within a talented group, and push them to play to their potential ...

there is talk of Nilmar joining in January ... I obviously approve of the move; his pace will definitely add a dimension erstwhile missing to Roma's frontline ...

entertaining 2-2 draw against Napoli, with an impressive first half; shame it fell apart in the second half ... which leads us onto the real topic: it's almost May, and the fans' patience with Lucho is wearing thin ...

it was good to see that some still showed admiration for his ethic, despite wanting to part ways ...

others kept it to a simple "begone" ...

Champions League qualification is just about impossible, though Europe possibly still beckons ... hard to say if Luis Enrique will be given another year to show that his ideas can take root ... for his sake, I hope so ...

lastly, the most striking image was Totti going over to the fans after the match, to hear their thoughts (vociferous lamentations, more like) ... un capitano, c'è solo un capitano ...

uhh, eu sou do Brasiu, e não falo inglês? I'll just excuse myself now from this riveting conversation ...

so, Lucho told the players this morning that he was leaving ... this despite seniors players like De Rossi and Totti vouching for him ...

sad that it didn't work out for him, and for Roma ... there was temporary talk of AVB as the frontrunner not too long ago (which would have been quite a surprise), but now it's all about the return of Montella ... with no European distractions, they can try to pull Juve next season, if they play it smart ...
