Thanks for your kind words. Once I get the hang of it, I'm going to try seems and things. Took me all day yesterday to redo my Adidas and Nike templates. O-edit modeler is a godsend.

Mate, I am really glad you've started making kits, and I KNOW you'll become a master in NO-TIME!

The kits are a veeeery nice start but you need some more practice with logos and designs I'm afraid....but don't worry, those will come really fast!

Please ask as many questions as you can since we are all here to help you constantly improve!

Also check the resource sticky thread for some very good tutorials!

P.S. Kitmaking is a loooong and hard job huh? :amika:

Logos are giving me a problem, it's true, I have to muck around with them a bit to get them to look sharper. Hey on your Errea kit how did you get the Errea logo and the lines on the shirt to look 'part of the sleeves' as opposed to sitting on top?

Interista-The lines are showing the texture underneath as opposed to sitting on top of the kit texture lines they are part of the texture. Does that make sense, it's hard to explain. Sorry.

Ashman..the last 2 MK Dons are better then the first ones you did,so progress has already been made..I like the kits your doing....and way to go giving kitmaking a shot.

Ashman, I think I understand, so here's how to get it: Once you have the kit completed, take the layer with the template and bring it to the 'very top'. Then, set that template layer to MULTIPLY and now everything will be 'part of the template'.

Let me know if this is what you wanted to know....and if you understand...tell me if you don't so I can make some SS to help you

About MK Dons...they are getting better and better! Though you should move the shorts logos a bit farther out since they look too close to the 'crotch' area...

The nike logos on the socks seem very big...but maybe that's just me...

The coca-cola patches on the short sleeves seem a bit blurry...and the coca-cola logos on the long sleeves seem to big...(but again that might be just me :P)

For the front you should 'elongate' the Nike and Marshall sponsors...if you don't understand look at my Nike kits to see what I mean...and lastly the club badge will look pretty stretched out in game, so make the height a bit smaller...

These are not meant to be harsh criticisms my friend

Starting in reverse , I'm using PS 7.0 . I had a look at the logos and have been updating them , you were right about them being blurry etc. I'll move the MK logo too. That's where I guess the o-model is a bit out, I even found straight lines don't seem to line up around the body. Thanks for the template layer info, exactly what I wanted to know.

MK Dons Home Updated

Following Interista's advice, I've updated positions of all logos and got a better team logo. Away, Third and GK to follow if you guys think Home is OK.

It's good that you use 7.0. I use 5.5 so our programs are somewhat similar

That updated MK dons looks MUCH MUCH better now, I'm glad you followed my advice (Y)

MK Dons Away, Third and GK

I'm not real keen on the Red in the away, what do you guys think? GK Blue is Fantasy.

QPR away. Took me all day, but I'm very happy with it. The .co.uk logo is a bit rough but looks ok 'in game'. I'm happy to up date this kit if anyone has any advice. I'll be re-releasing QPR Home and GK soon as you guys think the away is good enough.

Still working on Rochdale as well.

by the look of that qpr away kit, your kits are getting better already!!

a general rule of thumb that i use in resizing all my logo's (to make them look the right size in game) is for the shirt and short sleeves, to make the height of the logo half of the original and for the shorts, long sleeves and socks, to keep the dimensions normal! hopefully this can help you out!
