You know when you are under pressure, but you see an opportunity for a quick pass out of the situation. You press the pass button quickly, but what happens is a clearance giving the ball right back to your opposition, or if you are near their area its a shot which goes vertical like a harrier because you didnt control it as you were trying to pass. Why is this in the game? Is there a good reason for it? Who wants it?

Auto clearance/auto shoot, is there a good reason for it?

never had it happen, if you are trying to clear the ball out of your box but there is no space for you to clear it up the pitch either concede a corner or kick it out on the sideline
& concede a throw in.
when you shoot you must make sure that you have a good shot & good angle, you cant just turn & fire a shot. if your off balance naturally the shot will not be accurate. & pick your shots well because if you kick it with the opposite foot & that isnt his strong foot, or he doesnt have adaquate skill with his secondary foot dont expect an accurate shot.
it be like you trying to throw an american football with your left hand & you are a right handed non ambidexterous athlete, your pass will be ****.

I understand what you're saying O'Neill, and agree to a certain extent. I've had it happen in the game too, where I get the ball in my defensive box, and have time to play my way out, but because ive tapped pass (NOT shoot!!) and i'm 'under pressure' the game auto clears...
