Then i tried to update the roster of two Teams (no Graphics, just the assorted players, Minifaces from Fifa 16) :

Atlético Nacional 2010/2011 Season as an update of the existing team

Shaktar Donetzk 2010/2011 Season because they had a great season and a good UCL run.

Rosters from wolrdfootball.net (as accurate a they are).

Kits are in the CEP Patch or maybe from a good old Kitmaker who did them back in 2011?

And is this project still ongoing?

Looking at this 2010-2011 mod with working Career Mode, I can't help but think of my old idea of creating an Alternative History Mod.
Maybe some of you guys involved with this Remaster would be interested.

Now that we have the Converter tool by the amazing Tokke, we can use assets from FIFA 12, 13, 14, etc and up to 22 and their mods and convert them for the base game, in this case FIFA 16, replacing the kits/balls/adboards/stadiums as applicable for authentic change in visuals.

Hello everybody.
First of all, this is just an idea of a mod I've had on my mind for a very long time.
Decided to share it to maybe find other people interested in such a mod or just hear opinions.
Maybe someone becomes interested enough to collaborate in creating it either for FIFA16 or FIFA14 (the two most modded titles, it seems).

Personally for me the biggest drawback of every fifa's Career Mode has always been the fact that nothing changes season after season graphics wise (all kits, balls, boots etc stay the same).
The idea of this mod is to create an authentic and at the same time alternative history career mod.

Ideally it could span for as long as 10 years, starting with the earliest FIFA where most files are somewhat compatible (FIFA11) and having such features as kit overlays for promotion, relegation and European cups.
That would mean converting 11's DB and making sure it works in FIFA14/16. If DBs can't be properly converted to fit career mode, then the next best thing would be starting with FIFA14/16 default squads.

Over the years there's been a lot of mods and patches made, so it should be somewhat possible to compile graphic packs for each season (kits, balls, adboards, boots etc - everything that doesn't crash career mode progress, luckily a lot of changes can be made with RM).

So, in simple terms, we start the career journey with FIFA11's converted DB and FIFA11's graphics folder renamed as "sceneassets" (important note: all stadiums should be installed from the start). When the 10/11 season ends, we quit the game and rename this folder to "sceneassets 10/11" and then rename the folder "sceneassets 11/12" to "sceneassets", so when we load up the game, all 11/12 graphics are activated.
With FIFA14 that would be even easier as we can sort all the files by folders with Jenkey's File Loader and swap them on the go (not sure about FIFA16 modding capabilities these days).

Of course this sounds like a very ambitious project, so probably realistic goals would need to be set depending on how many people can collaborate together (maybe for starters top 6 European leagues only, or first two seasons only, as any update would not affect the career progress, potentially we could be preparing season after season).

Maybe some players would need to be added due to very young age (and they would be a bit older too) like Mbappe, Rashford or Martial in a FIFA11 database.

I believe potentially this could be a very fun mod as you'd be able to relive the history of football in the last 10 years, trying to replicate your team's path or have an alternative reality, sign Neymar to West Ham early on or convince Beckham to come back to Man Utd in 2011, get your favorite team promoted from division B in 2016 and win the Champions League in Istanbul 2020 with true-to-history graphics and fresh feeling every season.

So for example if we could export all FIFA 12 stuff now and convert it for FIFA 16, we can already have two full seasons with authentic graphics by renaming/replacing the relevant folders.

I am not quite done with FIFA 11 asset exports yet, I actually need help with exporting minikits since I haven't been able to bulk export the DDS images from the .big files. Any help is welcome:

This sounds like a great idea, it would be a dream to be able to play seasons with kits automatically changing as years pass.

This is an excellent patch. It fills me with excitement. I tried using CM to export the fip5.2 player list, keeping only who born before 1995, and importing it into the database .Then we can find the young vardy in the game.
