Am I wrong or this is the title number 50 in our history?:ewan:
So, simply perfect Lahm and Jansen, ok Lucio and Micho so ok on defence! Ok Zè and Ottl, bad Sosa but we've to wait, ok Hamit, ok Olli ok Klose for the goal, danke mr. Hitzfeld, we've smashed Bremen+Stuttgart+Schalke, nothing to see by the "blues" today cause Bayern is too strong!!!!!

I can't believe we wasted Ze Roberto at left wing in all those years. He's absolutely brilliant in his new position. Makes things a lot easier for the back four.
It's Ottl who plays like a 33 year old.

I just want a pure fan perspective on this one. Seeing how you will not be in the CL this season, how are you viewing the UEFA Cup? A must win tourney to make up for the lack of qualification in the CL?

What are the players/coaches saying about it. I'm just curious because a lot of western european teams always take the UEFA Cup less seriously than even the league.

UEFA-CUP is a tournament like the others, we all are interested in it but for me the most important thing is to win again the title in Bundesliga, but I hope we can win the UEFA too so next year we could play the Europa-Cup, would be nice. UEFA is important ok, but too easy at the beginning, it becomes a good tournament since the last 16. We'll see, ciao;)

p.s. for our trainer and our players the tournament is very important.

Well the aim is to win three titles this season so the Uefa Cup will be taken seriously.

Most see it as a great chance to achieve European glory as, unless a big team gets knocked out of the CL, Bayern are the clear favorites. It's a good test for the 08/09 CL campaign. They may rest some players in the first stage or in the group stage but after that you can expect the full strength lineup.

It's also important from a financial point of view. Bayern have already sold the rights to their games to a German tv station. That deal guarantees them CL like money.

I wonder why. They probably didn't put Messi's beautiful chip from Copa America on there, so why put this one? SportsCenter can be very confusing when it comes to the stuff they show on TV. Oh well, better having Klose on there than nothing.

Ze Roberto has been great. He's a bit too keen on the slide tackles but they are working great for him right now. He looks quicker and faster now than he did 2 years ago with us. I'm starting to dislike Magath for wasting him.

I still can't believe we played Lell and Ottl against Milan last year. Those two are **** and can't create anything. The midfield looked so dead yesterday with them in there. I hope we never have to start them again. Except for that one shot in the first half, Ottl was invisible. Seemed like Ze Roberto was covered the entire midfield for him. I'm very proud of Ze so far. He's been a hell of a transfer. Of course Ribery and Alitintop have been great as well, but Ze is the one that's going to prove damn important throughout the season, especially with van Bommel grabbing nuts and getting suspended.

On a side note, anyone got any news on Salihamidzic at Juventus? How's he been doing?

Cologne scored again. It's 2-1 for them now.

We got trashed by Cologne 3-1.

That was the line-up :

Kahn - Lahm (Lell), Demichelis, Van Buyten, Jansen (Lell) - Ottl, Van Bommel - Sosa, Kroos, Dos Santos - Wagner

Good to see Dos Santos out there. I'm still hoping to watch him play some more.
