not guy,I use the last update ModdingWay, you have to go in the correct base data files, after that you have to put standard database and then again trigger the base date ModdinWay (this is done out of CM14).

I know this because I changed several players including dribbling star potential, position and everything and gave no problem, play normally.

Of course you will have to make a new save because the former will be damaged as well as when we installed the Mod in the standard game.
