How did you get the fading effect?

Thanks mate! :D

I used a free editing program called 'GIMP' (image manipulation) - there is a 'blending' effect that I was playing about with and eventually ended up with something half decent

Excellent screens Carrick indeed !

I agree with Robbie to that and I would like to ask you this:
Could you please also explain the procedure on making the menu selection screens step by step ?
I am asking this, because it takes me hours and hours to make preview photos for every new added stadium that has not menu selection screens !

Thank you in advance for your response.

Hey Jimmy,

I don't think there really is a quick way of doing it mate - using FRAPS I took screenshots of the stadium from a specific angle during the team introductions

Then, I resized the screenshots so that they are the right size to for the stadium previews (using the preview selection screens of another stadium as a template)

Its a process of trial and error mate - do you have any image editing programs? (i.e. Photoshop or GIMP?)

Best wishes,
<carrick>

Try this:
With Photoshop, open one of the FIFA 14 images, than you must to have image from the game with the stadium that you want to make image(usually I make the images with Fraps). Open this image and resize it to size with width 646. Than cut from this resized image new one, with the area that you want to be displayed in the menu - 646x277. Put it on the FIFA 14 image where is the FIFA 14 area with the stadium. Than use inner shadow effect with this settings:
Opacity - 100 %
Angle - 90, with unmarked "Use global light"
Distance - 9
Choke - 11
Size - 70
Contour - Half Round, with unmarked Anti-aliased
Noise - 0
