Well you could always send me a copy to....beta test....yeah beta test :funny:
I got a reply from Breamster, the man himself, and he was very busy in his RL work for the past week, but you can expect the download very soon now, he has to go through a ton of submitted files Cheers Breamster!
It's ready and available! Click on the picture to download and knock yourselves out
Well you have done it once again! your editing is superb.
this is quality all the way and it makes fifa 06 mutch more enjoyable!
I salute you!
all thtat hype for a good patch. i was a bit more expectant to be honest. cpu ai is still weak. but good all the same. ea has seriouisly limited us this time. i wonder if it is possile to activate team and individual ai like in 2003 so the career mode doesnt get borring too quickly.
my patch would be out onihght so i expect harsh criticism. i have a pic of juve score milan 7 so i hope it sets u on fire before u try the patch lol.
Actualy I lost with Rapid Wien 1-2 against Juventus today with my gameplay mod in semi-pro mode I had to take screenshots for my next sound pack, I still did better than the RL team in the same match in the CL though hehe.
First reactions are very positive, it's been downloaded a lot more than I expected to be honest, over 100 times in the first hours of it's release so I expect a lot of feedback to be able to better it still.
The mails I got till now beside the positive found that the gap between amateur and semi-pro difficulty was to big, so I might lower the difficulty for that level in the next update. Also I received some remarks on the ball physics, especialy the shots that feel a little too weak especialy on free kicks, I might look into that, but on greater velocity settings I found it too easy to score on long range shots, so I don't know if I'll change that.
simply increase bal spin effect by 2.0.
Haven't tried it yet but I just want to say thanks for putting so much effort into it
Made a first league match with your gameplay at pro level, with Oldham playing away Blackpool (O-O). I really enjoyed the game, CPU seems to play much more as a team. I was surprised by the difficulty to find good shooting positions and the changes of tactics of the CPU. A very ggod gameplay, is it a final version or are u still working on it ? Thanks fo adding pleasure (and realism) to fifa.
I'm having to play on Legendary to get an equal opponent, playing as Sheffield United.
Thanks for your comment!
To answer your question I'm a follower of the "If it ain't broke don't try to fix it" belief
Until now, on all forums I visit and putted links to my mod I had all positive reactions with only a small ammount of criticism on some details that could be altered, if the same remarks are repeatedly coming back in the comments I get, I will of course (try to) correct it in a version 1.1 but I am not planning to release a ton of updates for it.
It's really something I've been working on for a long time for myself (basicaly since Fifa2005) so I'm not sure if I can make much changes without making it a worse experience for myself, as I never planned to release it even, some RL friends convinced me to make it available, and I'm really happy with the reactions I get.
I see it as a welcome change from my sound pack work which can get a little repetitive but now I'm back to it
this is good but still lacking mate.
old fifa files like aidiff.ini and position.ini still work just copy their variables into the ai.ini.
wat i simply do not like i the shooting. shots just look generally boring and like a ritual where u can always get the same result wen u repeat the procedure. i was hoping you could increase shot height. never mind you did your best
more importrantly do u know how to chnge the freaking stadium intro song?
First of all thanks for all the time and effort put into the gameplay mod. Very much appreciated!
I tried the mod with a bunch of European national teams, most of them created with CC05 then imported into CC06 and then to FIFA06.
Tried it firstly with a Northern Ireland vs Israel match (playing with Israel), a pretty good 2-2. Almost couldn't save my ass, as two 20-meter blasts from Healy and Smith were rifled into my net, but finally managed to equalize. Since then I played 8 games, so far so good. (World Class difficulty)
CPU long distance shooting is a great plus, CPU keeper is finally OK when playing a long ball. (I found mine still being dumbass, nevermind...). However, I haven't noticed CPU formation changes yet.
CPU moves: some really surprising ones, once Estonia pulled off a quick team move against me (and I was playing with Czech Republic!) that I could barely blink (fortunately the forward blasted it over when it was easier to score). Once after a quick counter a CPU forward even tried to chip my keeper from 25 metres or so (nearly scored).
Free kicks: as you've said, they're a little bit weak.
I found it somewhat easy at pro, thrashed Lithuania 5-1 with Switzerland easily.
Still, very good work :mexican:
Excelent gampelay billy
But sometimes my game crashes to windows or after a sub or after the time
I don´t know if this is related but i kepp my game profile.
Crashes after substitutions are always related to graphical files inside the zdatas, be it faces, balls, adboards, kits or whatever .fsh files inside those, check if it's always the same team that crashes or different teams, anyway my mod doesn't contain new graphics so it's unrelated, I'm 100% sure.
not really. i made a patch one time with no add-ons and yet it still crashed. its just like when the game crashes at the pause screen. its because the game just realise a wierd code from your patch
You know, you're probably right. Now go write some more comments on the download page.
I feel like your patch is handicapping me instead of making the other team better.
wat do u mean? go write more comments?
Great, then just uninstall it and install one that suits you better.
