That's some hot sh!t!

Bought GTX650 last year and I'm still dissapointed with it. Maybe for xmas i'll get GTX760 and a new CoolerMaster chassis aswell

If you can afford, get a GTX 770 or a 780.

I am very happy with my 760 but I have experienced rare periods of lag on high graphics. I am a casual gamer so I don't mind that too much and it happens rarely anyway. I could have afforded a 780 but I'd rather save that money for something else (780 is twice the price I think - $300 more). 760 is a good budget card.

I'm considering it again myself. Hell if I just use my tv as a monitor I can get a solid machine for like $700

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Interesting you should mention that, I just did that with my PC. Since my video card can handle dual monitors, I have connected my Apple Cinema 27" display and my Phillilps 42" TV monitor. When I'm not using my pc for work related things, I'll use it to stream movies, TV shows or just videos. Or I'll do both at the same time just for kicks.

This chart from the Nvidia website sums up nicely the difference in performance of the GPUs.

For optimal gaming experience. the GTX 760 is a minimum. GTX 760 is significantly better than the GTX 750.

The x60 cards are a sufficient jump in each series

Yeah, they're good value for money. 760 to 780 is not that big of a jump but the 780s are twice the price as 760s.

2 GTX 760 cards in SLI perform better and is cheaper than a single GTX 780.

However, 2 cards are probably going to consume more energy than a single GTX 780.

That's how my tower looks like with my new cooler.

Now I am getting CPU temps of around 50 degrees celcius in game. Was getting 80+ degrees celcius with the stock CPU fan. It costs less than $30. I highly recommend it. Only disadvantage is that it takes a lot of space.

I'm building my first work station, it's so damn expensive, and to think some people can afford xeons and quadros, being working my ass off for this. And sometimes I think I should use the money for a trip instead. Someday, France, someday. So this fits my budget:
- Intel core i7 5930k
- Nvidia Geforce GTX 980
- 16 GB of DDR4 RAM HyperX
- EVGA 750 Watts PSU 80+ Gold
- Asus x99 Deluxe Motherboard
- Thermaltake Commander G42 Case
-A custom water cooling loop for the CPU and GPU

Very good specs. I have the same PSU and its awesome. I love EVGA products. High quality.

I was considering a liquid cooling system but was afrait there could be liquid leak that could damage my system. I move a lot.

I bought a supercheap $30 Coolermaster hyper 212 evo and it works great.

EDIT: TYPO

Also I strongly suggest you consider an NZXT case. It has better design than Thermaltake IMO and they are made of very high quality. They are more expensive but you get what you pay for.

I have finished GTA V, Watchdogs and Tomb Raider (the last one - 2013 I think) and it was a joy on that PC. I play FIFA 15 throughout the year.

Graphics and performance is excellent. I could not play on "very high" graphics on GTA V because of lag, could play on "high" settings but I did not notice the difference between high and very high and lots of people complained about this issue anyway, even people who have GTX 980.

GTX 760 is a very good graphics card for cheap but GTX 960 would obviously be better budget one these days because the 760 is still priced almost as much as the 960.
