Building new stadiums?

FIFA Demon, it's nearly impossible to change the stadium models in the way you're hoping for. If that were possible then EA would have done it themselves. Unfortunately, the game engine is still restricted to CG limitations when it comes to stadiums.

I know, but as I asked in the previous post, is there any way to edit the camera angle for corners, so that you get a wide angle effect similar to that shown in the fourth shot down? That would at least make it look similar in size to the PS3 version.

As for EA not doing it themselves, well, they did it for the PS3 version, didn't they? It's just a case of getting the dimensions of the stadium right and in this, EA have failed miserably. It's not a case of the PC not being capable of showing those sort of views, just look at PES! Anyway, I just want to see if there's a way to alter the camera angle for taking corners, just so I can play around with it. If I come up with anything worthwhile, I'll post it as a mod (it'll be my first...)

Editing Camera Positions is even harder! :D

Oh well, it was worth a try. Thanks for your help. Can't wait for CM 09 and all the great patches that are likely to follow in it's wake!

In that case you dont remove the tetures, you have to remove the parts of the model that use the textures. ;)

Export the stadium to an .oif file with OIFTool, open up that file with zmodeler, then reimport the .oif file to the o and retain all parts, then simply select the parts which use the grass texture and empty them, then export ;)

I did what you told me, i downloaded ZModeler 1.07 because ZModeler2 it´s not compatible with version 1 .oif plugins, and after having the .o file converted to .oif i looked for the turf part and removed it, but when i tried to export back to .oif the program stuck in that proceess and suddenly crash to desktop, what can i do in this case, any help on this matter would be very much appreciated.

Well after some time I managed to edit the oif file with Stadium Builder, remove the picth mesh and save it succesfully, now when i try to import it back to o format with oiftool and try the new edited o file in fifa the stands look all green and red so there is no textures on them, what am i doing wrong here, how could i import properly the edited oif file with oiftool.

Thanks in advance!

You dont remove the parts with zmodeler, you only use zmodeler as an alternative for Oedit. It's OIFTool that you use to get rid of the parts. ;)

Mate excuse me I´m having a really bad day with this little procedure, would you like to explain step by by step how to do this in OIFtool so far the turf mesh is gone but i´m getting this:

- Should i use a base template?

- Should i use a PASN or TASN file?

Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

You need a base template which can be the default stadium from the ECP conversion package. In that case you need to select the TASN file which is in the package, which will give you the tp texture to link up with those textures that you need to import in the fsh ;)
