Buy digital download or on disc?

I have never bought a game by digital download, so not sure if i should buy it that way or buy it on disc?

Will i be able to burn the download version on to disc, in case anything ever happens to my hard drive and i loose the file?

if you are in the n.america, only digital download will be available.
europe & the rest of the world will have discs.

my advice to you is to buy the digital download if you are from n.america then download the pirated iso & make a disc of it, isnt illegal if you have a official key from ea.

its basically a backup copy of your digital download on disc.

this way if you ever have to reinstall you dont have to redownload the game & then reinstall it.

thanks for the reply.. im based in germany, so i guess i could get the disc too, but i want to get the english language version, so want to order from the UK..but if i preorder i probably wont get the disc on time..so might download it, good idea about the iso file...i guess its not so illegal if ive paid for it before hand!

I bought the digital Fifa (2011). It's cheaper and you have only to burn the downloaded files on dvd's (2) before the install.
"Origin" client installation is very simple

the german disc should have the uk option for language in it.

origin is a joke & ea monitors your pc when you install it as said in the eula agreement which is why i wont install it if origin is required for it to run.

ea makes a profile of your pc, to see what you have on your pc, tracks you if it finds pirated or unlicensed software of any type not just ea apps or games & reports you to whoever they feel like reporting you to.

they also sell your information to any 3rd party people they want for advertisement for them & ea through emails.

ea can lick my balls, who are they to monitor what i do on my pc.
i dont see ea letting me get my money back for buggy unfixed games year after year.
