I won't spend a penny on FIFA anymore, even if they come out with an excellent game. Looks like I'll be getting it through downloading. I feel everyone should do the same, see how EA likes it when we kick 'em where it hurts.

I have never bought fifa since day one. I either borrowed it or got it through other methods. The only game I have ever bought from EA sports is nba live. Overall, I believe all soccer games as of today have lost their luster of the past. In those days, it was all about scoring lots of goals and how you scored them. Now, it is way too complex and over the top. How about keeping it real simple? Here is a thought: I can play ISS all day, but I cannot play winning eleven or Fifa for more than 30 minutes without getting bored. It really sucks.

I will continue to buy FIFA because I just can't help it. But I do feel that it is starting to get pretty old.
I would like to see:
1. Improve create a player. Its horrible. Tiger Woods create a player is the best ever! Use that one if you could.
2. Get rid of the magnetic ball feel. Winning Eleven was able to create a loose ball. Like you are actually chasing it. I never score the same goal in Winning Eleven. I'll score the same goal 3 times in one game on FIFA. Something has to be done about that. Don't get me wrong, FIFA graphics are way better.
3. I need a better crowd. I can't stand to see them in the background.
4. Work your asses off to get as many real faces in the game as possible. I want the real players. Especially when it comes to the Premier League.
5. Get some more leagues and teams of course. EA is obviously working on that.

1- Better ball physics is a must. This will fix most gameplay issues with Fifa, I think. Just make the ball do realistic, unpredictable things.

2- Make it harder to take away posession. It's too easy now.

3- Better create-a-player, and add create-a-team. Alos allow us to edit existing players, ala WE8...

4- I personally want more national teams added before adding any more club teams. 39 national teams in 05 is too few, especially with the World Cup coming up. There should be at least 100 national squads with the ability to call up any player you want.

I am buying FIFA 2005 only if players won't pass left when i press up button.. Playstyle is getting worse and worse since FIFA '98. I am loosing too much nerves playing this game.. I would need about an hour to count all things that annoy me in that game.. I am playing the game just because i am masochist..

If something doesn't change I'll give my hands up.

-include sliders (pro is too easy / world class has too many cpu goals)
-better defensive A.I.( particularly for the stopper and sweeper)
-better movement of players within formation (especially defense)
-quicker dead balls (in real life tiny fouls and free kick on the pitch are almost instant)
-more small fouls (again sliders)
-official shoes (Nike 90 for instance)
-official balls
-visual / cut scenes of subs (currently only announced by commentators)
-better “black player models” with medium length hair (T.Henry looks fine, but players like Ed Johnson and D.Beasley look like Vijay Singh)
-league leaders in stats for each league and cups/tournaments/Eur. Cham
-‘back roll’ animation when player sets ball down (small touch that adds to realism)
-ability to select ‘shirts, shorts, socks’ before each match (not just home and away)
-ability to heel pass (already in the game, but random)
-more freedom during corner kicks
-better ‘touch pass’ animation
-ability to choose ball before match
-‘too hot to hold’ keeper animation after strong shot
-more practice options
-substitutions cut scenes
-replace unrealistic ‘off ball control’ with something else (waste of L2)
-greater variance between starters and stars
-ability to start with any club first year career mode
-career mode for international teams
-ability to call up, send down players for international squads
-ability to loan and except loans (career mode)
-free agent pool (somewhere to put players that were cut or retired)
-fix the ‘long sleeve’ glitch (long sleeves do not seem to appear during game play)
-include the new LA or Dallas soccer stadium (at least one official US stadium)
-ability to choose Spanish / other language announcers under ‘game settings’ instead of having to mess with ps2 settings / also without having the entire game in Spanish
-add another set of announcers (Italian, German or French?)
-ability to edit existing player equipment
-equal fatigue among players (currently defense tires more)
-interaction between keepers and defense (screams at them if they miss an assignment)

If it was me I might actually pull the trigger, because people like you are what makes message board so damn cluttered up with your dumb comments. This thread is supposed to kinda be like a wish list for people, but then again if you want a gun to your head please whoever does it just pull the trigger.

Hehehe quite alot ov thought put into this...but yeah quite alot ov good points but yeah i believe that world cup class is to predictable they always score in the same way mostly by headers so yeah if you learn how to defend that u'll be winning to easily like me :rockman:
and we've heard this time and time again start with any club in career.. i reckon that ea has got it right cauz no top team in the world would give there team to an unexperienced manager come on ..

from reading about championship league 04-05 / FIFA05 1/2, it seems EA has already addressed:

-sub cut scenes
-more freedom during corner kicks
-ability to edit coach apperance (i actually forgot to put this one in)

i'm also hearing the gameplay has improved, so hopefully this means better defensive movement and better realistic A.I.

So, in other words guys, we're expecting from EA absolutely different, almost new game!? They not gonna do it by themself (at least i don't believe to their goodwill)! Then, let's talk about HOW we could to push them turn the face toward customers, instead market department! Otherwise our "fantasies" means nothing to EA...

More freedom in everything. Big amount of animations is what makes the game look and feel real. The more different stuff is heppening on the fields the better :rockman: Also more power bars, more control given to the player ....
