If you own the 01/02 or 02/03 versions of CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER please can you spare some time to help me?

I'm searching for African football players in Europe, and I was told that the CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER game would contain players that I was'nt aware of. So I purchased the 03/04 version, and to my surprise it did contain 'undiscovered' players.
I'm now looking to discover African players in the previous versions of CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER.

For anyone who is looking to help, please respond to this thread and I'll give you more details.

Bear in mind. If the previous versions of CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER are anything like the 03/04 version, then their should be a 'search engine' where you can search for players by their nationalities. I'm not asking anyone to search every player of every team, that would take too long!

Can anybody please do the following (if you have CM 01/02 or CM 02/03).

Load the Portuguese leagues (even the lowest leagues), and then search for players from Angola, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Mozambique, and Sao Tome. Could you then note down all of the players from these countries that were born in 1982 or sooner (i.e. 1983, 1984, etc).

One question though. Why are there so many players without clubs? And is it possible to find there last known club (the players without clubs).

Glancing at the Dutch division the other day and I was amazed to see Vitesse near the bottom??? Surely Vitesse's stadium is too good for Eerste Divisie?

I don't know why there are so many people without teams.
Possibly they are players, whose club doesn't feature in the game, but the researcher did want in the game.
You could check their presence in CM 03/04, see if they are bound to a club there.

About Vitesse: The stadium is far too good, and the players also, but the players' mentality hasn't been. They seem to have pulled themselves together now, finally, just in time.

Could I ask you to do one more search, or would that be pushing my luck? If you can then please do the following (if you can't, it does'nt matter).

Load the French leagues (even the lowest leagues), and then search for players from Benin, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo [DR Congo], Gabon, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal, and Togo. Then note down all of the players born in 1982 or sooner (as before).

Again, it does'nt matter if you can't.
