Can't Sign Ibrahimovic To Barcelona

Hello,
I made a thread concerning this problem yesterday and it just disappeard. I checked some of the subforums and searched for threads created by me, but there are none.

Anyway, my problem was that in my Barcleona career with the Better Career Patch Ibrahimovic doesn't want to join Barcelona in the first transfer window of the game. When PSG accepts Ibrahimovic just declines all of my offers, because of "what happend in the past"(I'm paraphrasing 'cause I don't use the english version). I kept throwing money at him and was offering him 400.000€, a 20% goal bonus etc. but he keeps refusing with the message that because of whatever happend in the past he will never join the club. Alhough his Barca stint was probably not exactly the best part of his career, I can't understand why he would never join Barcelona again, especially not now where they obviously have a different coach. I checked his traits in the database and he doesn't seem to posess the loyal trait. Does anybody know a solution to this problem or what is causing it?

Perhaps the ploblem lies in transfers.ini file. Check value of HASGRUDGE (original is -400). Try increasing it (towards zero, of course). That's my best guess, but still just guess.

Open the database in dbmaster.
Now I can't remember where it was exactly but you will have to look on a table with player ID and a club ID. There you should see a reference to a level of emotions for this specific club - change the value or delete the reference and save the changes.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm currently playing a Bayern career, but will probably try them later. I read that all career saves make references to the "real/base" database of the game, the one you edit with the DBMaster, so would editing this database brake the savegames of career modes I started before changing something. E.g. when I changed a lot of stuff (player ratings, potential etc.) my old save games were broken, but this didn't really matter as I had only played for a quarter season.
