Can't Substitute

pls help!!!

Is there a solution to this "substitution bug"? no matter what happens I can't exit pre match team management screen or subs during the game. Tried to reinstall, changed screen solution etc

your help will be very appreciated

The in-game sub issue is a known bug, you have to do your subbing and lineup changes before you start the match.

I can't do that either when I go to teams management at any time game freezes. Basically the only way is to play with default squad. I'm quite surprised that bug like that can not be solved

Not a bug, it works perfectly for other people. The issue is your edited game files (MWay for example) and/or edited db.

Bangus, I have just installed the game (and reinstalled twice so far), no editing, mods nothing this is why I can't understand why this is happening.
Also noticed that I cant launch new career along with new one

You can save/launch any number of new careers, use the R stick to navigate the menu.

If you are having issues changing your lineup in the career mode team management screen, before you even go to the next match in your calendar, then I don't know what the issue would be, sorry.

Are you playing with Serie A? There is a known schedule bug in that league in tournament mode, maybe that's related.

No try to play Fulham in PR...just reinstalled game again and same issue with players selection. Cant find any solutions at the moment

Are you deleting all previous squad saves and career saves from your docs folder, before starting a new career? Could be a corrupted save file.

Yeah all files deleted

UPDATE: when switch controllers to keyboard it all works ok...I have tried two different game pads and same problem. So this is all related to game pad settings, admittedly both are quite old but did work with FIFA 13.
