Can't write messages to other user - What's wrong?

Sry for beeing noobish, but I don't know why i can't write private messages to other user. Please help and don't laugh

thanks for your replie. rabzyxor has written me and i answered. but nothing were in the sent items folder. so i dont know if he had get my message . but now i read that i can save a copied message of my file i ve sendet. unna is in germany nearly dortmund

You can "Request a read receipt for this message" when you send a private message.
It's under "Additional options" under the message field.

When the person receives the private message they can confirm they read it.

he can receive the message but it doesn't mean he has to reply.
