Career Mode 2005 Thread

Ahh, ok...I was wondering. I thought you had lost your mind. 
Can you edit their stats as well? I'm assuming you can. I wish you could do that with the XBox version. I guess they don't want you making all of the players on your favorite team maxed out, so maybe that's why they didn't include it.
By the way. Since I won the FA Cup last year with West Ham, I am in the UEFA Cup. I won my first 2 games, 5-0 and 4-1 and am on top of my group. All of the teams in my group are less than 3 stars. I beat Liverpool last night, 3-1. I have to play Newcastle, Man City and Chelsea all in a month's time. That's going to be rough. At the end of the year, I've got to play Man Utd on a Wednesday, then I've got to play Arsenal the following Saturday. I hope I have the league wrapped up by that time, because I beat them both already, and they'll be out for revenge.

I'm an Arsenal fan first and foremost, and a Barca fan secondly. I think Barca is still pissed at United for shady dealings in acquiring Pique. If you don't know who he is, you'll find out in the next few years when he plays every game for United.

Same mate i only ever like 2 teams Arsenal or Barca, Arsenal secondly though, i know Gerard Pique I'm 
off how Man U snatched him from our youth ranks. Didn't mind Cesc goin to Arsenal because he's goin to a fine club. 
But Man Pique would've been great if he stayed at Barca should've followed Puyol and Xavi instead of Fvcking Silvestre and Neville, I forgot the Champs Draw i hope Arsenal don't play each other before the Final, but i sure hope Barca Bash the s*** out of Chelski and hope to play Man U after them and bash the s*** out of them to.

anyway started over after his parents took him home, i have 4 days till i go back to college so im planning to sim my way through the mexican league and then go to rangers, then italian, spanish then relax in the premiership...

Anyways, I haven't had too much time to play FIFA since I took the job at Man United, but I won the Community Shield match vs Newcastle, 3-1 playing mainly my reserves. For FIFA 06, they should make it so that the AI plays their reserves in matches like the Shield and such. Also, I qualified for the ECC playing my reserves against Basel, I think I ended up winning 3-1 through the two matches. Kleberson scored 2 of the 3, and Heinze put in the third with an amazing free kick to the lower corner.

Nice mates, Just beat RKC Waalwijk 2-1 they opened th scoring and made it 1-0 and on the 70th minute O'Brian scored with a great shot from the wing, then on hte 80th min i subbed Lopez for Mitea. Then on the 89th min Mitea was scrabblin around the box until he got tripped. Van der Vaart took the pen and scored, made it 2-1 won it in the second half i might replace Lopez with Mitea for the next match.

I feel your pain NYHits, I accidentally deleted my career with Arsenal when I had just begun my 5th season...the worst part is that I did it myself by accident. Ever since then I've been playing 3 different careers.
Right now I'm playing with West Ham United, and I'm 19-0-1 in the Prem. The only team to beat me was Charlton 4-3. They were lucky to win on a rebound goal (I hate rebound goals) in the 85th minute. I would have had a draw if it weren't for that.
Last night when I was playing Bolton, I scored from the center circle! It was brilliant. I flicked the ball up and fired it toward goal, and it hit the cross bar and went in. I'm guessing it was from about 55 or 60 yards. I scored it with Zidane's replacement in my career with West Ham. The best part was, that completed his hat trick.
The transfer window just opened, and I'm thinking about buying Pavel Nedved's replacement, but I would have to sell one of my strikers to do so. I have 3 strikers that are 23 or younger, 1 is 2 stars, and the others are 1 1/2 stars. Sheringham's replacement should be pretty good once he develops.
I'm hoping to win everything this year (EPL, UEFA Cup, FA Cup and Carling Cup) so I can save my money for Henry or Trezeguet's replacement. I'm also planning to buy Vieira's replacement when he hangs up his boots.
My defence is not very good, so I'm going to need a left and right back eventually. Maybe Thuram's replacement would be a good fit.
Anyway...I'll let you know if I bring in anyone during the transfer window, but I might wait until the end of the season.

They scored 2 goals in the first half through fvcked up Sibon and Vennegor of asslink, but me young ajax side scored 5 goals in the 2nd half Mitea scored 2 and O'brien snatched one and Vandy grabbed 2.
