Do the replacements start out as good or will they get as good around a higher age?
Where did mixed boy go? Did he get red carded or what?
Danny, in your career, your best bet is to wait until the star player you want to buy retires. Then, buy his replacement, and he'll eventually be just as good or better than the original player. I never buy the original players. I wait until they retire, then buy them when they're cheap, because they'll eventually be very good.
Here is a list of the replacements I've bought in my West Ham career.
Aquilani - Paolo Maldini's replacement 3 1/2 stars, 22 years old
Flamini - Zinedine Zidane's replacement 4 stars, 22 years old
van der Doelen - Edgar David's replacement 3 1/2 stars, 21 years old
Dos Santos - Roberto Carlos' replacement 4 stars, 22 years old
Ghisolfi - Lillian Thruam's replacement 3 1/2 stars, 21 years old
I'm planning on buying Henry, Trezeguet, Vieira, Rothen, and Joaquin's replacements when they are available.

Started a new career with Celtic F.C. and going good to Sold Pearson and Maloney, and with that money i tried to buy Henriksen from Panathinaikos but he refused to join they i went for Song from Galatasaray but he rejected to but i already a pretty solid defense so i offered River Plate aobut 33000 and they accepted Mascherano's bid and he agreed to join.
First game was a tough one at Ibrox agains't Rangers F.C. They Lost Boumsong in the off season so thier Defense is weaker. first goal of the match was by Big Hartson, Mascherano on had a great debut, Mascherano getting past 2 defenders and then a quick low cross to hartson and hartson volleyed it in to the net and made it 1-0, On the 60th Min i subbed Sutton with Camara and Petrov with Beattie and Thompson with Wallace, but Rangers made a couple of changes to and changed thier formation but i was lucky to hold on after Prso hit the post twice. Then Wallace made a run on the left wing and made a brilliant cross and Beattie was in the right position at the right time and slotted it on the far post. Fineshed 2-0 Good win for Frantisek Straka and Celtic squad.
If you are wondering who Frantisek Straka is, he was recently the coach of A.C. Sparta Praha, but got sacked a month ago because of his poor performance in the Champions League.

Well i just made the Coppa Libertadores on me CC, for fifa, teams like Once Caldas, River etc all official. 
Same I'm not going to play my career until the new cc comes out and the transfer window closes, the CC kinda screwed up career mode so i'm waiting for the updated one with no bugs.

I didnt forget
...I just hate the MLS and besides, any of those teams which i posted would've killed any MLS team. I included UNAM because they've been one of the most dominant teams in America in the past 1 1/5 years. They're acutally in the middle of the pack in my tournament ahead of Monaco, FC Porto, Arsenal, Ajax, River Plate, and Boca Juniors.
