(Career savegame) appears to be damaged and cannot be used after patching

Hi guys !

Happy to find out this forum and community.
It's fun to see that when you think that "if a patch can be applied in this old fifa 11 to update players, it would be great" one day, the day after you are here :)

So first it needs to congrat a lot the guys who are behind the curtain, because the job is incredible and you can really feel a passion.
So thank you , thank you again for your time, your night hours on this project.

As you can see, I have an issue after patching.
It's not a big problem, If at the end I have to reinstall from the DVD, well it's OK.
But if there's a way to make it works, it could be cool.
(Yes, I have done a backup of my career before the patching ...)

To sum up
I have follow the guide :

1. install fifa 11
2. install ea patch (1.01)

3. install 2020-21 patch (v1.0)
* run installer "Installer (part 1 of 4).exe"
* run installer "Installer (part 2 of 4).exe"
* run installer "Installer (part 3 of 4).exe"
* run installer "Installer (part 4 of 4).exe"

4. apply Database
* Open Selector > Select database :
* Choose "1. Default squads (Updated)"
* ONLINE version / OFFLINE version
* Apply Database

As it fails, I have download the ea patch (1.1)
retry , but I still got this message :
(career savegame) appears to be damaged and cannot be used after patching

and when I try to run a new career or a kickoff , it crash :)
yeahhhhh

so is there any chance , If I reinstall the DVD source on the game to keep my career saves ?

By the way all the package 2021 is install, I can train with M'Bappé in Manchester stadium.

well,
i think your installation may work correctly :

1. the 2020-21 patch dont have a working career yet: u ll get indeed a crash when entering the career mode
i am working on a next version, wich will have career

for latest info, here is the official Thread :

2. you usually cant load savegames with different patch versions:
if the game-database changes, u cant load your savegame
this means for mods (like my patches),
or like u say, u may also not able to load savegames from 1.00 vanilla fifa 11 on a ea patched 1.01 (not sure however)
