Really? That's great if it does. Can you edit the players and teams with it though?
I don't want to mess around with the database and get the game crashing again.

I'm not exactly sure what you can and cannot edit in CEP with CM07 because i dont use CEP. I do know there is an option in cm07 to 'Open CEP' and I was reading on Ockhams site that they were going to make it possible. So I would suggest looking there for answers. Its on the sweetpatch site.

Anyone else noticed that in CEP the Scottish Cup should be the Scottish League Cup and vice versa? Can this mistake by Ockham be rectified?

CEP is flawless and has no errors. Every other message will be ignored by the Messie of editing, Ockham the mighty, who has no time for your pitiful complains but has to teach Electronic Arts how to make a bug free proper game instead. You have been warned, mortals.

Come on. Try playing the Scottish league career and you'll see the error straight away.
Since when has the Scottish Cup had a 2 legged semi final and finish in March? The Scottish League cup finishes in May in CEP. He's mixed them up. It's a great patch and I'm only pointing out an error.
I can't register on the Official CEP forum cos it doesn't give me the code to type in so here is the only place I can let him know.

Ummm, I think you may have missed the (extreme) sarcasm in Zefilio's post. Easy done in this environment, and especially for non-native English speakers, but that one was fairly dripping with it.

1: I'm sure you know it, but I'd like to say it because its like this bug will never be fixed.

Most of the players' charasteristics are totally messed up. Strikers are "ball winners", defenders are "counter attackers" etc.

And this influences the ingame rating of players, even when a striker plays on his favourite position he will e.g. be rated as 85/90 because he's a "ball winner" or maybe "stopper" etc.

This thing is SO annoying you know...
I hope this can be fixed in the next version.

2: An other thing are the boots, all players have wrong boots...

3: Walcott, in CEP its walcoT

4: many players have wrong positions...

etc.


PLEASE, its a very good idea to concentrate on the UPDATING of the most popular leagues instead of putting 2nd and 3rd divisions of leagues that nobody will play in it...


5: all kits need to be updated

6: electronic adboards will be very nice.

7: WHY are players playing until 42 years ????!!!!


8...


The list will never end, plz keep up the good work and make a fifa superpatch !!!!!

That is impossible, it is either your machine or EA's bad programming, CEP never crashes and works on everything, including a Commodore 64 and a Sega Megadrive.

Are you sure about that?
If this is true them Ockham will really have to fix this.

If you want you can import the orignial player ratings in fifa 07 into CEP using CM. (for the leagues present in original game).
Just create a patch with all the original players and them import it into CEP db.

And CEP 4.0 will be much more updated.:)

download doesnt work

or is it just me? When i click on file 1/5 or anyone of them, it just takes me to fileplanet home site...I know the file is on fileplanet but when i press download it just goes back to the main screen of fileplanet.

I'm not using more CEP forums as I have other things more important to do in this period, and I'm working really less on CEP project as I loose a bit of interest in editing for a community that seems more interested in destroying the work of the others than on some productive suggestions and collaborations. The rest of the team of CEP (especially Esterry) is working hard on the 4.0 version that is in the final stages of realization; the bugs and the suggestions that are sent by mail at my personal cep address are taken in consideration to be solved, while they are not taken in consideration if posted without precise references on general forums. Anyway, as for the beginning, if you find the cep too bad for your tastes you can check other patches and works on many fifa websites for example using the precious works from Zefilio.
