I don't see what everyone is so in a hurry for, use Frosty Tool for now or just pretend this tool doesn't exist.

It is attitudes like the ones being displayed here showing no gratitude towards a developer who spends a lot of his free time
creating a tool in which he plans to share with everyone once completed.

This is why I quit sharing anything I have done for FIFA games and will continue to share with only a select few.

The bottom line is quit being so ungrateful and wait, all the time spent complaining about release dates you could be learning to code and
building a tool for everyone else.

I should tell him not to release the tool.

The tool creator's name is shawminator and he isn't the one who created the thread, pepe created the thread.
The thread was created to let people know a tool was in the making and for something to look forward to.

The idea the tool would be readily available soon was someone's misunderstanding of what shawminator had said.
If you don't see it on 3DGameDevBlog from him then there is no reason to believe what you read.

Even if it had been shawminator who said it you would get the tool when he is ready to share it, asking when doesn't speed the process up.

if you enter 3DGameDevBlog and also in MODDINGWAY, where you publish the tool. It's just a comment of mine I appreciate that you use your time to create tools to edit (I value it a lot). But also understand the community that wants to be informed is not our intention precede to the creators of this tool. But many times we ask how to edit players, textures etc. and do not explain much. It would be good if we were given a help because many of us want to know how to edit for our venience without conforming with another and not to bother the modders.thank you !!!!

This man, Shawminator must have extensive knowledge about computer programming, passion for fifa and time to spend in this direction in order to make this work.
Together with a group of friends with some knowledge also in computer programing we've tried for a couple of weeks to break some structure in fifa. Now, this would have worked finally but these friends of mine don't share the passion for the game with me and have better things to do with their spare time so you see, if one component is missing it won't work. I don't have enough knowledge in this domain so....
And I had 4 people (one really a genius) helping with decrypting frostbyte working more than two weeks. Think Shawminator is probably alone doing this colosal work and from what I saw in the game structure, even if he releases in september it would be wonderfull.
For those who do not understand, just imagine a road which splits into more roads and when you think you hit gold, you just hit another crossroad and there are hundreds of these roads....Something like that is this frostbyte.

I can wait because we have Frosty Editor.

I just hope Shawminator finds a way to import files instead of just replacing files. If that happens, we dont have to worry about generic faces anymore.

As I said in my earlier post, EVERYONE PLEASE STOP PESTERING.

If an incomplete tool was released you would complain even more, e.g. "we've waited all this time and it's full of bugs!!!", etc.

It's not as if we can't do anything - we have Frosty Editor. That will make do for now.

Bottom line is that pestering people who give up their time to make tools and complaining will only end up convincing them not to bother at all! So all you'll achieve is ruining it not only for yourself but for everyone - like me and many others here - that do not berate modders and wait patiently for their work.

It won't be September, the tool is very stable and he adds more daily so it gets tested.

He wants to release a tool with as many options as possible available to the user using it and it is very close.

I can wait because we have Frosty Editor.

He has a way to import files without actually touching the actual file, very smart to say the least.

I would explain but I'm not sure he would be alright with that, just know it works on just about every file you can possibly edit.

It was just the way I was feeling at the time, I would never tell him not to release the tool.

It angers me as some people just act as if this man has no life and just does FIFA coding around the clock.
The man has a wife and kids, a job and a life outside of this community and the amount of time he puts into the tool is too much in my opinion.

The least members could do is play the game until the tool is released, when it is released you will know it because it will be on every FIFA modding site
across the web.

Yes, we can import files, the tool is his explorer, CM and DBM in one tool.

Sorry for jumping in ... but we will be able to add new stuff of just import & replace different textures?
And regarding modelling (exporting for editing the models) it's out of the question for the moment I guess, right?

Shawminator deserves a statue for this work. It's very very hard to decrypt a closed source code of this scale....

It's really sad. This forum had so much potential for modders, but those kind of people killed it.
I don't blame anybody for not posting their mods and creations. It only bugs me that the majority has to suffer because of these people.
I have very little or none knowledge about modding and I'm thankful for every mod that is posted.

I don't think shawminator will keep the tool for himself, never did withold mods fof fifa, like those great stadiums ore previous tools.
One must be really pasionate to spend so much time and effort for this kind of tool and a passionate guy will share his work regardless of some not so elegant comments.
The trick is to have patience and not ask every day when the tool will be out or acuse him of not caring...

He is still working on to complete it.

Release a software is not simple.

He have to check that everything is working perfectly. Just to make it clear, he started without to know how is the Fifa structure, he had to explore, to try, to do some analysis and so on... and he had done all these things alone.
