If we could change the name of some files like adboards or stadium dressing or kits and assign them to other teams or competitions it would mean we can have complete game.

+1 would be great if we could have the exe :) Can't wait to start producing kits again and testing them out ingame.

I can put together the documentation if you need me to.

I think this is exactly what shawminator needs, some help. Completing the documentation is probably essential before releasing. Assuming the beta testers have good expertise using the tool, maybe they could help support the tool, at least until some other users gain enough expertise to help others.

Perhaps a good idea would be for one user to compile a list of possible bugs from user feedback so shawminator does not have to read hundreds of "help me" posts to find the issues he actually needs to address.

shawminator, congratulations on your outstanding progress.

IF this tool dont have option to adding new 3D models like head / hair or boots - it will be nothing more like NEW (more user friendly) Frosty Editor :/ Hope GUYS You CAN DO IT!!!

So do we think this tool would be also usable in future FIFA releases like in 19? Or will it be FIFA18 only? Because personally I wouldn't mind if FIFA18 became the standard for future Frostbite era mods the way FIFA16 is for several different mods. Because I frankly don't think the next FIFA games are going to offer anything new that the community can't create itself.

Can't wait for this tool to be released so that I can change the World Cup update squads to 23 players only.

Really hate seeing players wearing numbers higher than 23 at the World Cup because that's not realistic at all xD

Two different editing tools are already available for that, no waiting necessary.

If you are referring to Frosty Editor and DB Master yes I'm aware we can already edit the db with them, but the problem with DB Master is that you can only see player IDs (unless there's a method where we can actually see player names) and so that would take me forever to edit the squads to my liking because we have always to check first name ID, surname ID, nation ID, etc etc + we can't even see the formations and set piece takers :(

I'm also waiting for EA to update the squads as I'm pretty sure they will because some national teams are missing players that will feature in the World Cup but since they didn't play any qualifying match they aren't included in the DLC.

Fidel updated CM 16 to work with FIFA 18. You can do all that with his mod, including seeing names, and editing formations and set pieces. Also, all set piece players can be viewed and changed in the default teamsheets table.
