No, you cannot make squad files but inside your career it will allow pretty much any edit about any player you want and many other options.
I use that cheat engine table since the launch of fifa 18 and it is great.(mostly for me to edit the scouted young players because they all look the same by default)

You can use it to effectively edit squad files too. Say you download the latest squads, you can then (in game) navigate to the edit player screen. Select the player you want to edit, then bring up the Cheat Table. The changes you make will be saved to the current squad file.

Does anybody know if it's possible to unlock the "edit player" function in order to edit player's face, hair, eyes... without editing them through CGFE? Because there are some faces in CGFE that don't work (transparent face in-game). Also, it would be better to make changes. Any idea? Thanks!

In addition to my reply above, this may assist you with editing: I catalogued all 151 generic hairstyles in game. Here is a link to a shared folder with pictures for all of them: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pNkjubQH2SmLOEw5KyVT1Pzu2oCRBsBB?usp=sharing

IIRC the relevant filed in the Cheat Table is 'hairtypecode'.

You should also be able to do this with DBM as per @bangus's instructions.

You don't. IF THE FILE DOESN'T EXIST THEN IT CANNOT BE CREATED.

Hello Regularcat...please could you help me out with this? I was able to replace South Africa with Nigeria but in game commentary still calls the team South Africa. Is there anyway to fix this? I tried changing the team id to Croatia's original fifa 18 but I can't get kit and other stuff to work. So is there anyway to use and South Africa id for Nigeria without commentator calling the team South Africa?

I considered it, but I think there are 500 (maybe more) face IDs and currently do not have the time.

It's something I'd like to do though, just time dependent.

Can anyone help me to edit the camera's height and zoom settings?
It worked perfectly with frosty but I can't get it to work with CGFE.

Somehow, frosty displays different default values compared to CGFE.

I tried the same values like previously in frosty but it doesn't change anything ingame.

Hello and thank you very much to you all for the help and tools that makes the game even more great to play, I have a little question how can I change the press start screen with CGFE 18 I can not find the path, not like the splash screen that's very nice and easy to change, if someone can point me to the right direction I will highly appreciate it, sorry if someone already answer this but I couldn't find info in the forum regarding this, thanks

Finally started editing with CGFE (it's amazing!) but I've ran into some issues. Hopefully someone can help.

So far, I've managed to change the following successfully:

• Team name (inc. database name, full name, 15 chars, 10 chars and score board)
• Badges
• Minikits
• Banner
• Flags
• Kit textures (crest, color, normal, coeff)
• Positions (jersey badge, number, name, etc.)

All changes made to these items in CGFE are effective in game

However (and this is where I hope someone can help/explain why), when I change the following, nothing happens:

• Kit make (collar type basically)
• Shorts number colour
• Name colour
• Jersey number colour

I'm really struggling to understand why this is the case. Everything I've changed, apart from these, works.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
