I'd like to extend congratulations to Chelsea. An absolutely ridiculous match. I won't make comment on whether you deserved to go through, but you came out on top so that's that. Immensely proud of the Liverpool players, just wish we'd turned up in the first half. I sincerely hope you do the double over the Mancs. I'm glad in a way that there won't be the likely scenario of the Mancs beating us in the final, and now thankfully fellow *bin-dippers* won't get in harms way in Moscow.

In theory yes, but in practice I don't think Reina could have done much more. The first one he had just made a save and barely had time to get up and position himself. Frankly, I just couldn't see us going through this year, against Chelsea, after we beat Arsenal. Infact, after that game, if you'd have told me that we lucked our way to another final, I'd have taken it no questions asked. I was quite sure we'd find a way to lose. After Riise's goal went in....well, that just hit the nail in the head. I knew that we wouldn't reach the final. To be honest, it didn't bother me.
In the buildup to this week, we were overconfident and arrogant....some of the things we said were really quite embarassing. I simply didn't care about the result of the game, and its affect on the tie, and ended up enjoying this game more than any Liverpool game since Danny Murphy's last goal against Man United 5 odd years ago!!!
No you're not!!! If you're looking for an excuse, it should be "Blame Hicks", because as far as the game is concerned we were beaten and can have no on-the-pitch excuses.

If not, what else have you got? Why bother calling yourself a fan? Teams live and die by the support of the faithful.

Also must give credit to the refereeing over the course of all semi final games. Was consistently good I thought. A change from the norm in European competitions.
