Not surprised by Arsenal's result, they won 5-1 at the San Siro a few seasons ago.

Tie of the round has got to be Fenerbahce - Sevilla. 10 goals, 5 in each leg, identical scorelines, late drama. Every neutrals dreams. Zico has done a really good job at Fener but tough luck on Sevilla. Very harsh for either side to get knocked out by a shootout.

I'm curious to see Porto today. I can't see Porto overcoming Schalke 04 after what I saw in the first leg, but in Dragao, Porto are unbeatable so far. But even winning, they may not pass (2-1 for ex. Truly a dramatic night today for the portuguese, specially the Portistas.

Could see this coming. With an aging side and a few players just returning from injury, the difference in vigor and sharpness between us and Arsenal was telling. I just hope we get more ambitious in the transfer market next season.

Deserved win for Arsenal. As for the other games, Barça and Celtic was obvious, and Man Utd confirmed their favouritism over Lyon. I wasnt expecting Sevilla to go down so soon though, guess they miss Juande Ramos. Tough luck, conceding just 10 minutes from time to lose on penalties.

Manuel Neuer had an outstanding game today, saved two penalties, going to be a grat duel between the two very young guys Adler and Neuer for the No.1 in German NT goal after the Euro 08 or WC 2010 if Enke will become keeper first.

Porto deserved to go through. Quaresma raped the Schalke 04 defense, and that goal from Lisandro is awesomeness. What decided the match was the 1st leg and those 2 amazing stops from that Schalke 04 GK (great one).

Congrats to Schalke 04, but I don't see them going that far.

WTF is a team like Schalke doing in Champions League?
They did nothing in the game. They play with 10 men behind the ball all the game.
Porto should have scored 4 or 5 goals but today the luck was not with us.
Anyway, Porto have done a fantastic game.

It´s very frustating to loose a game like that. I would prefer to loose 3-0 against Manchester or Arsenal than loosing in penalties against an Ultra-defensive team like Schalke.


I hope Schalke will get Manchester Utd or Arsenal in next round so they will be crushed

Fenerbahce fans wants their team to face a german team.
They feel this will provide them extra advantage in the away leg.
I think the best deal for Fener is to play against Schalke. (both for on-off the pitch reasons)
